Report and Denial Reasons should be split to regular users and moderators

It seems that both the Report and Denial canned reasons are bundled together. The problem is that this means that regular members (that are not moderators) can also choose a "denial" reason when in fact they should be made available to only forum moderators to use when denying post (from newly regis...

Re: [3.2][RC] No DEA Emails 1.0.0-RC4

Reading the last two pages of posts, I got a question? Does this application automatically seek and delete users (and all their content) that were using a DEA email address? If that is the case, can it just disable their accounts? This way they get in touch with forum admin and resolve the issue? Si...

Re: [DEV] No quote last post

I think I stumbled on a bug with this extension when active. It seems to also hide any other buttons to the right of the quote button. For example: I have the Thanks for Posts extension installed, and it seems to also hide the thanks button on the last post also. Since that button is placed to the r...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.6 Release

Since it seems the update was botched, should we wait until a re-release gets pushed out? Seems like many template files fail when attempting to login from there. Seems not all files were fixed to have the new code changes...

Re: swapping a Font Awesome icon with another one via CSS?

Because it's easier to just add that line in CSS than editing HTML files. The less modding of core files (PHP and HTML) the best when I have to do an update to phpBB. My custom CSS changes will not be overwritten and etc.

What new icon system? Link?

Re: swapping a Font Awesome icon with another one via CSS?

@Hakankin, I think you got confused, please re-read my first post, it may give you a good clue.

TIP: We are not focused on "fa-home". The code in the first post was just an example.

Plus I don't want to edit a bunch of HTML files, please re-read it.. :)

Plus this issue has been solved... ;)

Re: Warning notifications

This idea isn't about receiving notifications but about making the life easier to moderators. Currently you cannot issue a warning and stay anonymised to the user. Possibly anonymising a moderator is better than exposing his/her name sometimes. You still can appeal against a warning by sending a PM...

Re: swapping a Font Awesome icon with another one via CSS?

have you tried adding a padding-right ? Yes, I did try that, but it seems that padding-right doesn't seem to target this icon. I'll keep trying, sooner or later I should find it. ;) If you are interesting in testing this yourself, this is the icon I am targeting when there are new posts in a topic ...

Re: swapping a Font Awesome icon with another one via CSS?

UPDATE : Okay, after doing some searches, I think I figured it out. I simply need to learn the code for the font that I want to use. fa-file.icon-red = \f0a9 Then I add the following to the bottom of my stylesheet.css file: .fa-file.icon-red:before { content: "\f0a9"; font-size: 16px; } I added the...

swapping a Font Awesome icon with another one via CSS?

I read this help topic , and the following CSS code was offered for a member to swap a Font Awesome icon with a regular image file: .fa-home { vertical-align: middle; width: 27px; height: 27px; background: url("./images/image.png"); } .fa-home:before { content: ""; } Works great, but what I want is ...

Re: Was the Syntax Highlighter removed in phpBB 3.2.x?

You could try this: https://github.com/s9e/phpbb-ext-highlighter I'm afraid that's the same one I linked in my first post above. As far as I know, if I use that, then all the text inside the code brackets gets colorized? I didn't see any info there stating that I can disable the colorization if I o...

Re: Was the Syntax Highlighter removed in phpBB 3.2.x?

No, why you don't use quote in such cases? Because we use it for basic text, like when we work on articles we plan to copy / paste in blogs and such.. here is an example: To prevent brute forcing accounts the board requires you to enter a confirmation code after a maximum amount of failed logins. T...

Removed in 3.2, replaced with a general code highlighter.

You need an extension for that.
That sucks! :(

Do you know of any extension that would only trigger it if we use [code=php] or etc.? This way not all text that we place within code brackets is colorized?

Was the Syntax Highlighter removed in phpBB 3.2.x?

I am currently using phpBB 3.2.4 And I noticed that the following bbcode [code=php] doesn't highlight (colorize) the syntax: Example: [code=php]//some code here[/code] Was this removed? Or changed? I was using phpBB 3.1.x and that one had it. How can we bring this back? You see, I am aware of extens...

strange bug when creating a bbcode with the {URL} token

While editing an old bbcode that I created that had the {URL} token, I stumbled on a bug after I updated it. After several hours, I found the issue, and I was able to fix it, but it's a strange one. Because I can duplicate the bug even when creating a new bbcode with the {URL} token in it. So it's n...
