Re: My CPU spiking up

Yes, it seems that ASN went rogue or something starting on Oct. 2019. Some of my sites also got hit early on, and I quickly put them in check (for now) using CloudFlare's Firewall. See the Spam statistics report here: https://cleantalk.org/blacklists/as136907 I really appreciate the info provided in...

Re: [3.2][RC] FAQ Manager

Hopefully you plan to, since that is what that FAQ Manager used to do.

Right now, the only FAQ you can edit is the main one that phpBB comes with default -- not even the BBCODE FAQ and etc. can be edited :( .

If not, perhaps changing the name to FAQ Editor would best -- less confusion.

Re: [3.2][RC] FAQ Manager

Just wondering? With the older FAQ Manager extension , you could also create new FAQ pages (aside from editing the default phpBB FAQs or BBCODE pages) -- great for forums that want to create their own "separate" multiple FAQ pages that fit the many subjects that the forum will cater to (i....

Re: [3.2][RC] Auto db Backup

@newmember,

I think I also got this problem a while back, and the only thing I needed to do is set up the correct timezone on my profile (UCP). Once I did that, I didn't get that error.

Re: Group Color options for multiple different Styles (Forum Themes)

Well in my example above, the color blue is only for moderators, and well blue could have different shades of that color. One of course would be a darker blue so it looks well on "light" styles, while a lighter blue for "dark" styles. So you can keep the same color per group, jus...

Report and Denial Reasons should be split to regular users and moderators

It seems that both the Report and Denial canned reasons are bundled together. The problem is that this means that regular members (that are not moderators) can also choose a "denial" reason when in fact they should be made available to only forum moderators to use when denying post (from n...

Re: [3.2][RC] No DEA Emails 1.0.0-RC4

Reading the last two pages of posts, I got a question? Does this application automatically seek and delete users (and all their content) that were using a DEA email address? If that is the case, can it just disable their accounts? This way they get in touch with forum admin and resolve the issue? Si...

Re: [DEV] No quote last post

I think I stumbled on a bug with this extension when active. It seems to also hide any other buttons to the right of the quote button. For example: I have the Thanks for Posts extension installed, and it seems to also hide the thanks button on the last post also. Since that button is placed to the r...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.6 Release

Since it seems the update was botched, should we wait until a re-release gets pushed out? Seems like many template files fail when attempting to login from there. Seems not all files were fixed to have the new code changes...

Re: swapping a Font Awesome icon with another one via CSS?

Because it's easier to just add that line in CSS than editing HTML files. The less modding of core files (PHP and HTML) the best when I have to do an update to phpBB. My custom CSS changes will not be overwritten and etc.

What new icon system? Link?

Re: swapping a Font Awesome icon with another one via CSS?

@Hakankin, I think you got confused, please re-read my first post, it may give you a good clue. TIP: We are not focused on "fa-home". The code in the first post was just an example. Plus I don't want to edit a bunch of HTML files, please re-read it.. :) Plus this issue has been solved... ;)

Re: Warning notifications

This idea isn't about receiving notifications but about making the life easier to moderators. Currently you cannot issue a warning and stay anonymised to the user. Possibly anonymising a moderator is better than exposing his/her name sometimes. You still can appeal against a warning by sending a PM...

Re: swapping a Font Awesome icon with another one via CSS?

have you tried adding a padding-right ? Yes, I did try that, but it seems that padding-right doesn't seem to target this icon. I'll keep trying, sooner or later I should find it. ;) If you are interesting in testing this yourself, this is the icon I am targeting when there are new posts in a topic ...
