Re: [3.2][DEV] phpBB two factor authentication

2FA doesn't work when the board is disabled. It requests an authenticator or backup code, and then returns to the index page with whatever message is set in the ACP.

This effectively locks out the admin account :)

(I'll go digging in the database now ;))

Re: [3.2][DEV] phpBB two factor authentication

Ran a couple of early tests and things seem to work very well! Backup keys not a problem at all. Still need to see what happens when I use them all up :) Speaking of which, what is the recommended procedure for assisting a user that locks him/herself out completely? OTP equally works really well. I ...

Re: [3.2][DEV] phpBB two factor authentication

It installs! No errors whatsoever, and there is a lovely new section in the UCP ready for me to test (which I'll do soon) ;) At first glance the wording in the UCP is a little obtuse and could do with a bit of a rewrite, especially for people who would like to use 2FA but are not necessarily aware o...

Re: A private Chat like Facebook?

This extension (in development) takes a lot of inspiration from Facebook, including private chat: viewtopic.php?f=456&t=2490661

Re: [3.2][DEV] Ticket Tracker

Thanks for the progress! I am getting a General Error when trying to enable the extension: General Error SQL ERROR [ mysqli ] Duplicate entry '5' for key 'PRIMARY' [1062] SQL INSERT INTO phpbb_trackers_severity (severity_id, tracker_id, severity_name, severity_colour, severity_order) VALUES (5, 2, '...

Re: Variable

Best to post these questions in the actual extension topic so the author can answer.

As for overload, I have not seen an issue with that during testing. That said, the extension is still in development so always tread with care... ;)

You could also set the username as a s9e parameter and use that instead.
See: https://s9etextformatter.readthedocs.io ... arameters/
Interesting idea... Need to read up on TextFormatter (also for other reasons)...

what would we do with each user registered in our forum with an email type DEA? ... We eliminate it? ...
I guess that would be up to the administrators, but it would be a great thing to know for starters - thank you for considering it!

Re: [3.2][RC] No DEA Emails

Seems very useful indeed! Would you consider having some sort of search feature to see if any of the currently registered users have used a DEA to register in the past? A little note on https://www.nameapi.org/en/live-demos/disposable-email-address-detector/ was interesting: For new account signups ...
