Yes, for at least the past 12 years. I'm not saying we should keep it though. :P

Re: phpBB.com Website Feedback

anyway, what I wonder is why in the world is phpbb.com using spamhaus to help with spam? Check IP against DNS Blackhole List in Security settings has pretty much always been an option in phpBB. And, as far as I can tell, it's always been enabled here ("enabled" is also the default for new installat...

Re: [DEV] [OFFICIAL] CODENAME: Chameleon

☝🏼 what he said. We wouldn't consider replacing the style in the current 3.3 line as it would break most extensions.

What is your recommendation, happy to comply with whatever including deleting this thread if need be. Not looking for fame or glory, just helping out the community as I couldn’t find the latest update for this extension. You're fine as is. It was a general message to anyone else planning on posting...

Re: [3.3][RC] Portal Board3 for phpBB 3.3.x

Agreed with the mentioned points regarding this and any other extensions related to board3. If you have your own clone then this is not the topic for you to post links to them. Please create your own topic if you wish to receive feedback and get the extension into the CDB. Regarding the name of the ...

Re: Autoban and Dedect Spammer

Again it happen here and nobody discovered it here... Well I to People edit some Posts back then. 🤨 So? We have a team that takes care of that because time-locking editing of posts is not something we can do to allow daily operations to take place on our site. Do you have such a team on your forum?...

Re: phpbb 3.3.0 PHP Fatal error (template\context::assign_block_vars())

It's more likely that the style not being updated to 3.3 is causing this. As mentioned in the ticket try upgrading the style using this guide and that should resolve this. If it doesn't feel free to add to the ticket.

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.3 Proteus Feature Release Published

Incorrect information? That is exactly what happened when i used file replacement. I doubt that. You likely replaced the config.php file with a blank one ( file replacement method does include that file as one you'd need to remove before doing the file replacements) and thus the software correctly ...

Just a note: File replacement seems to wipe out the original forums as it doesn't give an upgrade option.
It doesn't, please stop providing incorrect information. If you need assistance in properly upgrading start a topic in support.

Re: [Info] Extension Writer Tools

There's just about nothing that PhpStorm does that is not possible in VS Code. Plus, as has been mentioned, it costs money. Even if you paid monthly you're looking at a minimum of slightly over $100 just to get a perpetual license whereas VS Code is free. If you want to spend the money on PhpStorm e...

Re: Topic prefixes now available

Just a heads up that the 3.3 prefixes are now available for usage (yes I know...should have gone up sooner...my bad!). 3.3 submissions to the CDB should be possible once that's released, which shouldn't be much longer.
