Re: Can registered users see the email you register with if they click on someone's profile?

I found the setting in the member's preference UCP and changed the default that a member can change to NO, this does not effect Admins who can still use that to send a member an email but it does stop members from doing that
I think I said that already :D

Can registered users see the email you register with if they click on someone's profile?

I just got this query from a new member of mine (using a 3.3 board) I went to the member's profile and found that by going to his mini profile in a thread he posted on, you can click Contact, send email and yes you have that person's email address which means that any member can go through everybody...

Re: PhpBB vs Vbulletin vs xenforo

as soon as you look at the Xenforo buy page the sum of $160.00 is already in the top right hand corner, the license, so your bill begins there
on top of that $65 for media gallery
another $65 for Resource Manager
and extra styles typically cost $25 - $45

Re: get Running

my take is that if you're a beginner you dont really need to wait for the weather to start getting warm in the spring :P the programme I quoted starts little, you are going to be out there ½ hour to begin with. For the runs in Week 1, you will begin with a brisk 5-minute warm-up walk, then you will ...

I finally found a proper plan from the NHS and am now following it, I was trying to go running by just going to the local park and doing a few laps of running, of course my lower legs turned to stone and I was doing it wrong as I hadnt found the NHS "week by week" guide which is b...

from the article linked by olsserik Article 11 introduces a "link tax", requiring that internet companies get permission from publishers to use a snippet of their work. On websites like Google and Twitter, for instance, a small part of the article is usually shown before someone clicks into it entir...

Re: [3.2][BETA] Poll on Index

yeah what a great idea! Very nice!

the way the permissions is set up is fine, there is no Ext tab control, instead you go to the specific poll(s) that you want featured on the index and use a drop down at the bottom to flag that that poll will display on the index NOT BAD !! works great !! :D
