Re: Oauth error login when trying to view profile, post new reply,...

I finally managed to fix the problem, known since 2015 but still unfixed (https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-13505). Open phpbb/auth/provider/oauth/oauth.php and find that line: $redirect_url = build_url(false) . '&login=external&oauth_service=' . $actual_name; Replace it: $redirect_url = $phpb...

Oauth error login when trying to view profile, post new reply,...

Hello, I thoroughly follow that guideline https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.2/ug/adminguide/general_client to set up oauth authentication in my board. When I try connect via ucp.php?mode=login , the Bitly/Google/Twitter oauth logins perfectly work. However, if a guest tries to access to a feat...

Re: [3.2][RC] Inline attached images

Thank you for the first feedbacks :) Any comment about listener.php ? According to phpbb\textformatter\s9e\factory.php, the attachment BBcode is set by that line: $templates['attachment'] = $fragments['inline_attachment_open'] . '<xsl:comment> ia<xsl:value-of select="@index"/> </xsl:comment><xsl:val...

Re: [3.2][RC] Inline attached images

For the extension homepage, I assumed the best link would be htt p :// w ww.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/{extension_name} I don't have a dedicated website for PHP/phpBB extensions. Unless this extension is finally validated, the homepage field is pointless. Maybe should I left that field empty, ...

Re: Search timeout.

Great! I'm glad I helped you :D I agree with the post you reference, this should definitely be flagged as a potential issue within the ACP. I personally advise further (https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-15754): add mbstring module PHP as phpBB requirement , just like json and XML modules. I th...

Re: Search timeout.

The topic author encountered timeout issue on vendor/symfony/polyfill-mbstring/Mbstring.php on line 420 when he/she used board search. The problem is known and apparently existed since phpBB 3.2.0 (see https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-15043). I experienced myself on my own board with phpBB 3....

Re: [Release] Legacy (phpBB 3.1.10)

Since the phpBB team dropped the phpBB 3.1 support, there will be no longer updates of Legacy style for phpBB 3.1.10. I also dropped the early versions for phpBB 3.2. So, any file available here (Legacy 1.2.1 and older) is now discontinued. The current version of my style (for phpBB 3.2.2+) can be d...

How to work the Jabber feature

Hello. As a phpBB board administrator, I would like to enable the Jabber feature so that users can immediately receive board notifications on their devices (PC, tablets, smartphones). That feature works for me, with two Jabber accounts (the one for the board - Jabber settings in the ACP - and the ot...

Re: [Release] Legacy (phpBB 3.2.2)

My project isn't dead: I finally updated the Legacy style, two months after the release of phpBB 3.2.2... Changelog templates upgraded for phpBB 3.2.2 Localized buttons are now generated by CSS New style variant: darker color palette style further bugfix and code optimization That update makes the s...

Re: phpBB 3.2.1 : why hiding online registered users list?

Indeed guests, or actually anyone without permission to view profiles, memberlist and viewonline.

I think it would be a good thing to separate the permission (allow to view memberlist but not profiles for example).

Re: [Release] Legacy (phpBB 3.2.1)

Hi upstairs. All MCP modules are available in Legacy, just like any other styles (such as the current prosilver or the older subsilver2). Your problem has nothing to do with my board style: the number of visible MCP modules depends on your moderator permissions (see the 'permissions' tab in the ACP)...
