ill give it a shot although The reason why I haven't tried those is because i was not receiving those errors. Last time I upgraded half my topics had empty polls in them for no reason.

check your config.php file and make sure it says mysqli and not mysql

then try again.
did you replace all the old files with new ones (except the config.php file ) before you tried updating the database? if not, do so.

This is not the problem at all.

$dbms = 'mysqli';

same problem since release. Its really freaking annoying. I just want to upgrade ffs!

really sucks this isn't being worked on. Someone else made a similar mod but it is useless.

Here is an example of a name that doesn't work with mentions this wont work for anyone period

also a feature that was requested in the old 3.1 version was the ability to use mentions in the quick reply box

Why can't some users use it? for some reason when *some users do @username it will let you choose the name from the drop down but when they make the post the names aren't highlighted. works great, but looks like some users cant use the mention system.

for those of you confused.

simply create a folder called "wolfsblvt" in the ext directory then rename the extracted folder you downloaded form the github ink to "mentions" and upload it to the wolfsblvt folder.

can we get a floating nav bar? this would make this style epic.

@Mention System not working completely QuickReply Reloaded not working mention system now working for me on 3.2 I disabled the ext deleted all files. then deleted the mod from the ext folder on ftp then added it again and enabled voila working.. idk how maybe it had something to do with quick reply...

can the dev or anyone just continue with this ext and update/modify?

I don't think that Board3 Portal works with phpBB 3.2 - you will need to ask about compatibility within the support topic for the extension.

works fine for me. Upgraded with no issues with board 3 portal
