Serach for "nickpage" in the modDB, there you'll find a mod, that allows every user to setup a personal page like a homepage.

Download one of the mods to take a look at it, so you can see what you need. You should define the table in constants.php and do a lot of other things to ake this work correct (think of the auth settings.... Not everybody should see all new posts or topics... ;) And what is wrong with the code: How ...

Depending in what you want to achieve, try it the opposite way. Include your site content in the standard phpBB page. There's a mod for this around and some lines in the KnowledgeBase. :) For the second one, I have no idea what you mean with this. You can set the permission for Admins/Mods onlxy, to...

Is there a way to upgrade manually from 1.0.6? I've read that youwill be providing an SQL updater for the next version, but is it possible to do in a "hand made" way? I would like to keep the already played and "installed" questions (around 100+), if possible.

Thanks a lot! :)

Sorry, my fault. :oop: I should have explained it better. I don't want to use the $template I just write down the few lines with "echo" and that's it. :)

But the Mod you're refering to is a good hint. I'll look into it and "investigate" this further! Thanks a lot! :)

Thank you very much markus_petrux, but that is exactly my problem... THe files you linked are checking the user data at first. And at this point comes the bad request in place. I'll explain it a bit more: A user comes to my board. The first thing he gets is a "Bad request" message from the...

Meanwhile I'll read the link from you, but it would be great, if you could write up some code for me. :)

Thank you very, very much! :)

Hmmm, good idea! Haven't thought about that... ;)

Any ideas about such a solution (a hint or something)? I'm not very familiar with javascript... :(

Thanks a lot! :)

Great, thanks a lot, it was just an example. I have to do a bit more with the $board_config. But it's no secret, this is what I want to do: <?php /*************************************************************************** * remove_cookies.php * ------------------- * begin : 04/11/2005 * copyright :...

Page without session management, but data from $board_config

Is it in any way a security risk to built a page, that is including the "standard stuff", but leave out the session mangement? The only things I need from the board is some data from $board_config and the redirect function.... But what I must leave out is the normal session mangement. Is s...

I've no real idea how to write this in one sql querty, but maybe you take a look at the "Adanced IP Tools Pack" from pentapenguin. This mod does exactly this (and more). ;) It adds a new field in search.php where you can look for IP doubles ;) Maybe this code could help you.

Really? I don't think it's better, if the values from the config are only needed at one special place (the portal)... The arrays that are taken through the whole board are big enough imho, if there is no need for adding a value because of using it forum wide, why writing this to the config table? Bu...
