Re: [2.0.13] Navbar Mod

Which version are you using? The one in the mod db? Or the one from my signature?

You can always just remove the block from it's .tpl file, if you can't find any other way. Just make sure you only remove the table containing the search block, and leave everything else.

Re: [2.0.13] Navbar Mod

Does the admin panel not disable it? If you're using the newest version the admin panel should have an option to turn off the block.

Re: [2.0.13] Navbar Mod

You put the block in the wrong place. </tr> <table width="100%" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="1" border="0" class="forumline"> <tr> <th class="thTop" height="25"><b><center>Advertisement</center></b></th> </tr> <tr> <td class="row1" align="left"><span class="genmed" style="line-height: 150%"> <script...

Re: [2.0.13] Navbar Mod

What you should do, is open up nav_start_a.tpl in notepad, and take a look at the code there. You'll see a bunch of html. Simply copy the blocks (individual tables each time, of the type "forumline") and alter one to your desire. Add it where you like between the others, and add a new line-break tag...

Re: [2.0.13] Navbar Mod

The only pages i can remember having issues were error pages, and such like. These pages use simple_header.tpl, and I never managed to find where they were referenced or I'd fix that issue ;)

Re: [2.0.13] Navbar Mod

The lang problems should be fixed in 2.2.0

oacBlack: I'm assuming it's some conflict with another mod you've got installed. I haven't done a whole lot of work aside from minor bugfixes since I released 2.1.0

That's the only thing that makes sense to me, because I just checked my original copy and it looks fine too.

Hmm, yep, it's just a missing semicolon... I never noticed a problem before, and I haven't touched the lang file in quite a while... I wonder where that came from...

I don't know why you're having issues with the language file, I've never seen a problem with it. I deliberately put the mod's language strings in their own file to avoid errors, and to keep all the code together. Could you try finding the specific line that causes your error? I'm sure it's just one ...

Navbar Mod 2.2.0 Download

Fixed a couple template bugs, the link edit bug, and added notes about the extra portal blocks in the portal admin page.

NOTE: This mod has NOT been validated by the phpBB mod team, use at your own discretion.

Sorry about my absence everyone. I thought I had set email notifications for this thread, but evidently they aren't being sent... I'll go through the thread and find fixes for all the bugs noted, then upload a newer version (With notes about the extra blocks) To fix the Edit Link problem, do the fol...

I'm guessing it's one of the two mods that are installed that's the problem, try removing each of them in turn and see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't, try using only the navbar mod.

Are you running a modified template.php? (xtreme styles mod)?

I've not seen that problem before... What mods are installed on your forum?

Yes, ezportal works with it, but the mod has it's own built in portal, which is virtually identical, if you download the version in my signature.
