Order of Avatars in Gallery - ?

I just added a new directory of avatars to the avatar Gallery. I spent some time naming them first from 001.jpg thru 045.jpg so that they would appear in the specific order I wanted them to. But they don't, they are in absolutely no order whatsoever that I can see. For example, the first row across ...

Any plans to make this theme available for the new phpBB 3?

Re: Making the jump from version 2 to 3

I sucessfully installed 3.0.3. I now want to tackle upgrading 2 from .19 to .23 as directed but can't find the download. I've been all over phpbb.com but all I can find are downloads for version 3.

Re: In the "requirements" stage of installing 3.0.3 - ?

Sorry, I posted too soon. I Googled "PHP setting register_globals is disabled" and found the setting via the "PHP Config" panel in my site's Control Panel and it shows me there that my host has to change it. Also, Google found me a post from this board that I did not find searching it directly, whic...

In the "requirements" stage of installing 3.0.3 - ?

I pass all the tests except this one which is a red NO: PHP setting register_globals is disabled: phpBB will still run if this setting is enabled, but if possible, it is recommended that register_globals is disabled on your PHP install for security reasons. So if I'm reading right, that setting is E...

Re: additional smilies window...how to resize it?

Hope you get an answer as it may also lead to the answer I'm looking for - where to change the background color of the smilie window.

Re: Making the jump from version 2 to 3

Installing and converting are two separate processes. Great! That's just what I needed to know. Helps immensely knowing I can install 3, tweak it and then do the convert when ready. I'm going to go ahead and follow Robert's steps - install the full package for 3, update 2, then when ready, do the c...

Re: Making the jump from version 2 to 3

However, it is your board and I have no clue how many or what MODs you may want to install on your new board I just compared my board to the Diddle theme over on the Demo board and am now thinking maybe I'm misinterpreting exactly what a "Mod" is. From what I can see and remember, here are the chan...

Re: Making the jump from version 2 to 3

Thankyou, Robert. Upp'ing to the current 2 first sounds easy enough, but will that also un-do the mods I have made? I'm going to have to let this all soak in before proceeding.

Re: Making the jump from version 2 to 3

Thankyou, Kevin for the quick and helpful reply. One more question if you don't mind. After downloading phpBB3, is doing the conversion an automatic/mandatory step during the initial installation? In other words, can I install it, take my time in figuring out how to re-do the mods I made & making su...

Re: Making the jump from version 2 to 3 -PS

I also have the PHPBB Admin ToolKit v2.1a installed (which confirms I'm at 2.0.19 by the way).
Will that need to reinstalled?

Making the jump from version 2 to 3

I've left my board untended for a long time but a recent surge in activity has me, well, tending to it and finding I am apparently way out of date. I have read here http://www.phpbb.com/community/docs/INSTALL.html#convert and here http://www.ktuk.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=3081 and then went he...

It does give you the possibility to prune user(s), post(s), user(s) and post(s). http://colliope.com/screenshots/phpbb_admin.gif From what I can see, one has to type in each user name, same as going thru the standard user management screens. Maybe after entering the name, there's an option to delet...
