I'm actually having the opposite problem. setting the board to user activation works fine. If i set it to admin activation I (the admin) don't get the emails. Any thoughts? also, the error simply means that the info you have in the config.php file is not correct.

Lumpy. I understand the wwwroot path as far as typing in the url and the server sets the root folder etc... I have installed the board, modded it, and have everything setup. Now it is time to delete my user info. I need to transfer the administration to another user.
