mysql_upgrader.php SQL error. Need Help!!!

Having issues with my forum. Trying to make sure board is fully upgraded. When I go to upgrade, receive this, "Your MySQL database schema for phpBB is outdated. phpBB detected a schema for MySQL 3.x/4.x, but the server runs on MySQL 5.5.33-31.1. Before you proceed the update, you need to upgrad...

Deleted user and not posts

Clicked too soon. Deleted a spammer with more than 2,000 posts but not his posts. So, now when I try to find that user to delete them all, there is no user. Any way to get all his posts and delete them or will I have to hunt and peck through all the forums?

Thanks!

Re: How to break up an .sql file

Just had to update. Of course, by now you know that the host was no help whatsoever after the server crash. A number of people recommended a new host and said the were great (don't think I'm allowed to mention the company here though?). They have been awesome. They called me on the phone. They've se...

Re: How to break up an .sql file

Okay, that is not working.

Is there any program large enough to open my .sql file. I'll do it bit by bit. I just have to get the file open somehow.

Re: How to break up an .sql file

No, they just gave me the .sql file.

I do have SSH access. Just not sure how to go about using it :)

Right now I am trying to use MySQLDumper. Not sure if that will work but I'll give it my best shot.

Re: How to break up an .sql file

So the file is too big to be opened by Notepad++

I know other people have moved large databases. I just don't understand why I cannot.

Re: How to break up an .sql file

Okay, so I have wordpad opening up my LARGE .sql file. May be awhile. I'll work on breaking it up from there. I sense I might as well just get comfortable this weekend and make no plans. No, unfortunately, I cannot get to the old database. So frustrating! They pretty much gave me this .sql file and ...

Re: How to break up an .sql file

Actually, the host gave me .sql file. It was a backup from right before the crash. I thought about deleting the search index but it is getting hung up on all the posts. It is a busy site. If I use a text editor, do I just break it into chunks? Is there any code that has to be repeated on each new fi...

How to break up an .sql file

So I have an .sql file that is a gig and a half. I need to move over to a new server and am not getting a lot of support from the host. Tried BigDump but when I checked it this morning, I got this error: Error at the line 333245: INSERT INTO phpbb3_posts ...(a lot of post info here)...MySQL: Lost co...

Re: Moved server (due to crash) and need to load the databas

Let BigDump run while I was sleeping and woke up to this: Error at the line 333245: INSERT INTO phpbb3_posts ...(a lot of post info here)...MySQL: Lost connection to MySQL server during query So, again, I have a partial database that does me no good :( Suggestions welcome. I almost feel like I could...

Re: Moved server (due to crash) and need to load the databas

Thank you so much for the help. I haven't heard from the host and this has been going on several days. I just want to get this board back up and running. So which way would be the easiest? I do have SSH access but not sure how to go about utilizing that. Any help is greatly appreciated. If BigDump i...

I've emailed them a couple times and am hoping for a reply. This has been quite a process.
