Need mod to replace/hide text between specified tags

I'm looking for a little mod that would remove the text between a certain set of tags, say [admin][/admin], and replace it with a message saying something like "removed by admin" or whatever. It's primarily to "delete" parts of a post, say offensive or personal info, from view bu...

It's a recursive acronym for PHP Hypertext Processor.

How did you install it?
Normally it's just a matter of pointing your ftp client at it and hitting the delete key. If it was installed as a server-based control panel install, you may not own the files and may have to delete it through your hosting control panel.

Untick the gzip compression option just in the off-chance it's not doing the compression properly.

I've got my site set up to run from the root with no problems. Can't think of any reason for being unable to get into the admin scripts - check the permissions on that directory and the files in it.

Blueyonder won't install php or mysql for you as that's already available as a chargeable upgrade to your account (£6 pm iirc).

The test account only allows access to the demo. It does not give access to the download.

Can you get a new password sent by email or has the hacker changed the email address?

Best option would be to register then use your phpmyadmin to make the new user an admin then sort things out from that account.

Yeah, contacted my host. They have mod_security installed on the server and it's this that's causing the problem. Although if anyone can explain how cd's is a unix system command I'd be grateful. I should have realised. I had a similar problem with another script when trying to set directories - it ...

Bizarre 404 error when post contains particular string

If I try to post anything than contains the string "CD's" (without the double-quotes) I get a 404 error. Any pointers to what might be causing this would be appreciated.

Running 2.0.11 does not stop hackers trying the exploit but it will have no effect. The attacks will still show in your apache logs.

I'm also interested in more discussion about portals, but the portal discussion over at phpbbhacks is really dead - not much doin over there. Ah! OK, I haven't been there in a while but it was very active when I was last there. Still, there should be plenty of links to potential portal scripts. John
