Re: ACP_FEED_SETTINGS not "Feed Settings" after 3.06 update

I use Beyond Compare to compare files, and when i look at common.php in the bad site vs the same file in the good site, there are no differences. I'm using 'English (United States) on both sites. I didn't quite understand what you said, so hopefully what i'm saying makes sense. Possibly - could it b...

Re: ACP_FEED_SETTINGS not "Feed Settings" after 3.06 update

Thanks so much.

1) So are you saying it is specifically the common.php file that is bad?

2) Should I just use the new common.php from 3.06 and just replace en with en_us?

Thanks!!!!

ACP_FEED_SETTINGS not "Feed Settings" after 3.06 update

I have more than one forum, and i've updated all of them to 3.06. Unfortunately, one of the forums has bracketed merge info instead of real text in 2 of the General Settings. Instead of saying 'Feed Settings' in the left sidebox, it says "ACP_FEED_SETTINGS" - and Instead of saying 'Send statistical ...

How can moderators get emails for 'Newly Registered' posts?

I've activated 'Newly Registered Users'. I've set 'new member post limit to 3. When a newly Registered User posts, i understand the moderator needs to approve the post. But how to i make it so that the moderator gets an email notifying there is a post for them to approve? Otherwise how does the mode...

Re: Sortables CAPTCHA Plugin

Nothing is showing up on the registration page. I'm using 3.06 I installed all the files/folders in 'root' into my 'forum' (/public_html/forum) I didn't know what to do with the 3 files on the same level as root (license, install_sortables, modx.prosilver.en.xsl). I tried putting them in public_html...

Re: Account Activation - Admin not sent email

I changed my email address to xxxx@gmail.com and it worked perfectly in receiving 'activate' email.

So... it's not related to my UCP settings - it must be related to my email server - either spam rejecting or other config settings with it.

Thanks so much for all your help. Very appreciated! :)

Re: Account Activation - Admin not sent email

I had not enabled 'users can contact me by email'. I did add that to 'jim' user.

But... that didn't help. I signed up another user again, and still only got the email as the new user, not the one to the admin.

Re: Account Activation - Admin not sent email

when i went to look at your specific user permissions it said 'no role assigned'. I gave you standard permissions, but what do i have to do to make sure all new users have standard permissions?

I have to go now, but thank you so much for your help. i will reply tomorrow.

Thanks!!!!!
