We removed the 3.1 launch page when it wasn't our most recent version anymore and replaced it with the 3.2 launch page you see now. However, an older cached version is still available on other services. ;)
Thanks, Jim. I think what I need can be found there.

Re: Feature lists?

my question would be why are you worrying about 3.1 ? if you are going to upgrade why not just go for the current version 3.2? That's not really the issue. Since 3.1 was released, I have to believe that there were improvements that it brought over previous releases. I'd like to know what they are.

Feature lists?

I've got a few phpbb installations of various ages. I've actually got a version 2 installation that isn't being used anymore and there's no reason to upgrade. But I also have a couple of 3.0 installations. These are private forums with limited use and needs, and I haven't upgraded because there's be...

Banning a user from one forum

Is there a way to create a sub-forum and modify the permissions so that everyone *except* one specific user can access it? I don't want to ban them from the entire forum, just this one section.

Re: Can I hide the poster name?

Permissions Group Forum Permissions select the forum Highlight Registered Users remove permissions. Be sure to add permissions for the group that should see it. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it. I click on Permissions, then Group forum permissions. At this point, it asks for a usergroup,...

Re: Can I hide the poster name?

That sounds like a far better way to accomplish what I'm doing. Now I just have to find where that's done. I'm looking in the "Forum Permissions" area, but I don't see anything like that. I'll have to research it some.

Can I hide the poster name?

I've created a sub-forum for just a handful of selected individuals. I've password-protected the forum, but I've noticed that although no one else has access to it, they CAN see who's posting to it and when. Is there a way for me to hide that information for that particular forum? I've named the for...

Batch delete

I've seen this question asked a couple of times, but never answered. As has happened to others, I've recently had a lot of Russians registering accounts on my machine. I've since altered my security to make it more difficult, but I still have hundreds of newly registered accounts from the past few d...

Re: Quick link to change styles?

Thanks again, Robert. It was '3'. Makes sense, since it was the third style on my board. One step closer to a solution. I'm still getting a blank screen, but I have to wonder about this statement in the readme: "2. Edit files includes/session.php and includes/functions.php as written in instructions...

Re: Quick link to change styles?

Yes, I am getting pretty confused.

Still have no idea where to get this "style ID".
Just for the heck of it, I tried a few various low numbers: 1,2,3,4,5... No luck.

Re: Quick link to change styles?

did you open yoursite.com/mobile.php with a text editor such as notepad++ and edit public static $mobile_style_id = 0; you change the 0 to the id of the art_mobile style No, I didn't. That wasn't in the set of instructions I have. Where do I determine the id of the art_mobile style? Also, I assume ...
