I can login without a problem but the forum does not login its user automaticly, so we all need to enter our details everytime we visit the forum.

Now I had split it up.

I only have 16 tables in the DB while a fresh install gives me 25 i think.

You don't need to change anything "in" the config file, only the permissions of that file in your FTP client. left click once on the file in your FTP program, then right click it, in the window you see Chmod ( what is chmod ?).
