Slam my comments all you want, but upgrading phpBB is like getting a Microsoft upgrade - that is the main board upgrades fine, but past upgrades no longer work. And don't harp on the old "human error" crap, this was all done through the 'mighty and miraculous' EasyMod, so no human errors there. Why ...

Whether you choose to allow your board to evolve or are content to leave things just the way they are, it is nice to know that we are using a great and well-written application, and it costs us absolutely nothing... Got complete respect for the developers out there with maybe the exception of...

No offense to anyone here, but after this hubbub, I think it's time for me to move to SMF and stop all this silliness with phpBB... too darn much maintenance...

kinda off topic sorta but how are you doing your full backup, in PHP or from MYSQL admin I create my backups from php in the ACP. Of course I have added a few changes to it to enhance its capabilities... Hey Night, in ACP, when you do a database backup, where does it write the file to? Is the...

Ok...so lets get this straight...I have posted this thread several times about my upgrade problems: :? When you click to get into the A-panel, you go to the index page instead. All links disappearing from posts. All images in posts disappear. And the only remedy is to install and use Easy Mod ??? :...

I am more than happy to help anyone who is interested in learning more about EM. Hopefully anyone who can will be able to make the same offer. It is in all of our best interest if everyone is using EasyMOD... [beta] EasyMOD v0.1.13  Oh, I agree, and I'm just completely anal about my forums, an...

Yes, and no it's not working, and then today I found out that posting images via [img] do not work either. Heavy sigh...

i dont actually get any errors... this is my problem... In your bbcode.php file, why is the following line commented out? This version update didn't specify to do this: //$replacements[] = $bbcode_tpl['img']; I would recommend that you remove the 2 // on that line. It should now look like this: // ...

After I applied all the changes by hand (I run heavily modded board) I got these annoying errors: Restore your backups and apply this update using EasyMOD. Your board can't be any more modded than mine and this version update installed with very little problem on my board. Unless you are using the ...

Awesome MOD Acyd Burn!!! This version update finished in under a minute without any problems using EasyMOD. Your MODs always seem to work flawlessly. Thanks for providing them... It's a shame that so many people prefer to manually apply these MODs and then end up in here with "weird" problems. Some...

Quick COPPA question

:) Quick question for you, and I think I already know the answer - is there any way to see in the database if a user has checked the "yes, I'm 13 or older" box when registering? I've had a couple of registrations that I am concerned are younger than that age and they have not sent me the COPPA forms...

what i need to write?

I tried editing existing forum descriptions using BBCode for smilies and have no luck. The mod loaded fine through EasyMod, but for some reason I can't do anything with it, at least I see no gain from it.

This MOD installed FLAWLESSLY on my heavily modded board using EasyMod. No it didn't. I went to your board, and any place that people used HTML to format (including your own sig) is now a mess of HTML code and symbols, displaying right on your page. Of course, you wouldn't know this if you're alway...

So I guess it worked... is that lin...
