Re: The server encountered an unexpected condition...

Well, I decided to do a clean install and try again. now I'm encountering this error: SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Lost connection to MySQL server during query [2013] SQL TRUNCATE TABLE phpbb_forums BACKTRACE FILE: includes/db/mysql.php LINE: 158 CALL: dbal_mysql->sql_error() FILE: install/convertors/functi...

The server encountered an unexpected condition...

I get to step 13/20something in the conversion, and it kicks up this error: "The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error ...

Re: [BETA] phpBB Garage 2.0

Great mod, looks like it has a fair amount of features and whatnot. Very easy to install. Couple issues though. 1st issue being that when you input the mileage for your vehicle as, lets say 70,000 miles, it truncates the 0's after the comma, so it displays as 70 Miles in the profile. Also, when view...

Re: [2.0.19] Anti-bot Guest Post Mod

I'm probably way out of the loop, but I installed this on my forum, and the drop down box does nothing. I select either yes, or no, and it still lets guest posts go through.

I saw mention of updates, so if someone can PM them to me, that would be awesome.

Thanks

Re: Approval MOD

Thanks. I looked through, but didn't read it very clearly at first. I got it working now.

Great script. Thanks for all the time you've put into it.

Re: Approval MOD

This may have already been asked, but how do I configure it? I installed this on a heavily modded phpbb 2.0.23 board using EasyMOD (the most recent build) and it said it was a successful install, minus a couple warnings about language files that I don't have. No critical errors, everything said it w...

Re: demodding a moderator

Click the usergroup link on your index page, as an Admin you should be able to select the group and remove the user from the group via this page :) Remember if you made the user the group moderator you will also need to change that via the group management in the Admin panel :) Ah, my eyes overlook...

demodding a moderator

I recently had an administrator resign from his position. I removed him as an administrator successfully, but it still has him listed as a "Local moderator" in the local mod user group. I'm not sure how to remove him from that group.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 2 part question - moving a forum

Alright great, that was exactly the info I was looking for. Now I have some follow up questions. I know I'll lose the portal and mods if I convert to the phpBB3, but can I reinstall them to phpBB3 after the conversion? or are they just not compatible? Also, if I do the conversion, will my phpBB2 boa...

2 part question - moving a forum

I have a phpBB2 with a portal, and a handful of mods that I'm moving to a new server. I know I can just copy all the files, and the SQL database straight over. My question is, do I only need to edit the config.php file in the main directory, to reflect the changes in the database location and stuff,...

Got it. Maybe I missed something during the install. I just made an install.txt file and had EasyMOD install it for me..

Thanks

Alright, when I do that, I get the screen that has a list of my forums, and an "edit" link on the right. When I click the edit link for the specific forum I want to setup, it just brings me to admin/admin_forums.php with no option to enable, or disable the feedback stuff. so it's the same ...

I just installed the mod, and it went smooth, but I can't figure out how to enable a forum for feedback. When I try to enter the "Feedback ModCP" it tells me I am unauthorized.

Any help?

Question about upgrading

If I'm running a portal, and have a fuck ton of mods installed, and I upgrade to the latest version of phpbb, am I screwing anything up? Like installed mods, and altered files. I'm not 100% clear on the updating procedure. Does it overwrite the existing files, or does it just search and replace line...
