Re: 3.2.1 running under php version 7.2

Steve thank you, while I admit it is weird, it's hard for me to determine what exactly has been done wrong in the process, as I do not physically do the upgrade, so firstly, how can I do a local back up to my lap top from the hosting provider server please, any procedural instructions available plea...

Re: 3.2.1 running under php version 7.2

Dear Janus and Mick, Thank you for all your help, yes we might be doing something wrong to lose the 'attached' images, but if we are nobody understands what it is that's going wrong and we don't understand what you mean by 'catalogued'. Would you be kind enough to confirm whether 3.2.1 will definite...

Re: 3.2.1 running under php version 7.2

Hi Janus thank you for your reply, because every time we upgrade we lose all of our 'attached' images on posts and we have problems restoring the site colours black and red, and we were told better to not upgrade to 3.2.2 on this user support board, we have just managed to get everything restored an...

Re: 3.2.1 running under php version 7.2

Paul, We are not techhnicians, we are two old men that muddle through, we have no idea what it is you have just recommended we read through to find out about actions to make 3.2.1 compatible with php 7.2 . Our host provider said he was 80% + sure it would work but recommended we come back to the use...

Dear AbaddonOrmuz, Many thanks for your advice, no we are not experiencing problems at the moment as our host provider has not upgraded to php 7.0 to 7.2 yet, that is due to take place on 16th of August. Re: Necessity to Upgrade to phpBB Board S/W Version 3.2.2

Dear Stevemaury, Many thanks for your quick reply. Can I confirm that when you say to: 'Your ne-blackgreen style is for phpBB version 3.2.0, and will cause you issues in your present 3.2.1, not to mention 3.2.2. ' along with your closing statement, 'For now, there is no version of your preferred sty...

Necessity to Upgrade to phpBB Board S/W Version 3.2.2

Having read through the release notes, am I right in assuming that V3.2.2 is not a major but an interim upgrade? Our current Oracle Forum board running version is 3.2.1 [http://www.973-eht-namuh-973.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1] The point being, that every time we upgrade including the changes to acc...
