Re: Most used MOD's, why arent they already in phpBB?

Why arent these MOD's just added the the main phpBB file for new user's, to start with? It would seem to me that more people want these than those that dont...

Another question if anyone knows, using this same theory, instead of only changing the top response, could I make it so that all even posts use one template and all odd posts use another template, so like the 1,3,5,7... all have one layout and 2,4,6,8... all have another layout? yes, you could for ...

That's really a good idea, the suggestions were also pretty good - however, it would be additionally pretty cool if each posting that was posted by the thread started in that thread could also have applied a different style, so that it's obvious whenever a thread starter posts without having to look...

ok thanks but will it work with 2.0.15 ??? It's extremely unpolite to even think of reading your users' PMs, however if you really have GOOD reasons, you can always use phpMyAdmin - as phpBB stores all data in plaintext format, so there isn't any encryption taking place whatsoever. In that regard y...

I am not yet entirely sure what you are trying to do, however I suggest to search these forums for keywords such as "meta" "tag" etc. - also, make sure to search the MOD database: there are numerous MODs that support dealing with meta tags, you might be able to use any of these, or if necessary adju...

As well, if a person has the administrator right on your board, he can download the database, and do anything with it, like obtain the md5 encrypted password of all users of your board and you can guest what can happen after that... Some people use the same password for a discussion board and an ho...

Re: Ignore this topic for replies

I am not aware of any such MOD but I like the idea and I think you should consider making a corresponding feature request for one of the next phpBB releases. Sure but what's the best way to request a feature ? There's no forum for them. The only I can read it's Please do not post feature requests i...

Re: Block FireFox web browser -- to prevent session flooding

I need a mod to block the FireFox web browser. Ideally, I need a Ban Control in the ACP for web browser types, which has the same effect as banning an IP address. A message to the user would also be helpful. Apparently there's some feature in FireFox that fetches all the pages linked on a page when...
