so i tried reinstalling phpbb3.2 on my server by deleting all the files and installing it again like for the first time, i thought it will work, but at the end, another timeout sessions detected. how to fix thiss? :O i've seen a thread here about manual ftp installation?? but can't understand much a...

also now im having trouble in installation, should i delete the file? and reinstall again? or there's other way to reinstall this.

i used the server hostname as my Database Connection Address, and use the MySQL Database Type. :3

for the solution about the access denied, i just ask my host provider for support and they did it.

you mean the hostname?? under the database type?

i need help in installing now.
what database type should i use?
- MySQL with MySQLi extension? or MySQL? or SQ Lite 3??

and for Database server hostname or DSN, what should i put? is it the database connection address??

hi sir david, thank your for the reply. here's what happens: when i go to my test domain, phpbb panel show up, with the tab " installation" but when i clicked it, the page saying " access is denied" and im pretty sure i've put the correct database user and address on the phpmyadm...

Hi i would like to ask for a little help about this problem, database is all set up, hosting is ready, and working fine, but before i can install phpbb3 in my server, this message block my way " Access Denied". how can i deal with it?
