Re: [BETA] simple acp pm read [1.0.4b]

Got a request. Can this (or any other similar mod) search for PM's based on Username? Or at least being able to sort by Username? When I use this mod, I'm usually looking for a particular user.

Can Admin view user PMs?

I need to be able to view certain users' PMs on my board. Does phpBB3 have this option (can't find it anywhere in the Admin panel) or is this a mod request sort of thing?

PM's not releasing and no PM pop-ups

I upgraded from RC5 to RC7. It caused all of my custom themes to go down so I disabled them and am only using the vanilla prosilver theme with no mods. Here's the issue I'm having. I have one user who said he's got 2 PM's that haven't been released and when he makes room for them in his inbox, they ...

Issue with RC4?

I had this bug: http://www.phpbb.com/bugs/phpbb3/ticket.php?ticket_id=13245 Then it was supposedly updated for RC4. When I upgraded to RC4, I ran into a similar issue so I posted this bug: http://www.phpbb.com/bugs/phpbb3/ticket.php?ticket_id=13854 I don't want to become a pest so I'm not posting an...

Admin only Avatar/Smilie upload

Is there a mod where I can allow my Admin (or a specific group) to upload avatars and smilies but prevent everyone else on the board from doing so?

Re: UNREAD/READ Topics Issue - Bug or feature?

I'm bumping this instead of writing a new article for the same thing. I'm using Cookies and while the topics get marked read, the forums do not. I have gone through a forum and viewed every topic, however the forum is still marked as Unread. It'll only change if I "Mark all forums read" or "Mark all...

Re: Number of topics in forumview

Look at post settings on the main tab of the admin panel. You're right, both settings are there. Ah... I guess I just didn't check that button. Thanks. Another question: Is it possible to turn off the following feature... When you type a post and someone else posts in the topic prior to you hitting...

Number of topics in forumview

I've looked and looked but can't find where you can change how many topics will show up in the forumview. I assume it's somewhere where the "hot" topic settings are, but I can't find that either.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Username CSS changes

Where do I find places where I can make changes to the usernames. I know that their color is changed via the database with whatever group they are in, but I want to change things like font, background color, ect. Stuff that isn't dependent on the group color.

Where do I change that?

Re: Style preview for non-admin

I noticed that when I'm logged in, I can preview the different themes using ?style=1 in the url. However this only seems to work for admin. I'm wanting to make a special theme specifically for Mobile Phones/PDA's/ect. If they goto http://www.mysite.com, and are using a mobile browser, they will be ...

Maximum posts in a thread

On my phpBB 2.0 boards, I was having a few problems. Certain threads were getting into the 20+ pages of posts. Due to some financial restrictions, my small server was having troubles running phpBB 2.0 during peak times. When I pruned some of these monster threads and required they be restarted to co...

Re: Auto detect PDA and display light version forum.

in sessions.php find this: if (!empty($_GET['style']) && $auth->acl_get('a_styles')) and replace with this: if (!empty($_GET['style'])) After doing the above, create a redirect for any PDA/Mobile browser to goto: http://www.mysite.com/phpbb/index.php?style=# (where "#" is the number of the light th...

Re: PayPal Mod?

I'd love to see this mod. Another thing that'd be nice, is if you could add someone to a certain group if they donate a certain amount of money. On my boards, if they donate X number of dollars, they get access to a special forum which the rules are not as strict (I'd just give the group access so w...
