Re: Default Styles Problem

To ameeck, yes, it is a bug, because setting the default style in the admin cp doesn't do anything even to new and registered users. You still have to manually go in and change the style for anonymous users just to make THEM see the so called "default" style you told the board system to use. Like I ...

Re: Default Styles Problem

The same issue is here in my topic and in another one. I am STILL waiting to hear form a moderating member of this site if this is a bug so I can report it as such, because changing that default style does absolutely nothing except add a pretty little star "*" next the the style in your style list. ...

Re: GUESTS: don't show logged users: How to ?

Hellooo, is it possible to use what I asked above? I'd like to combine multiple ifs/elses that have 2 conditions for one part of code to reduce the coding.

Re: Theme does not cache

No, it's not checked because I don't want it to clear the cache when I close firefox. I have it set to 20 days and 100mb, and it never saves a thing, or does so randomly, a few times.

Re: Display last edited time information:

Yeah, I don't get why but when I first asked some things a few weeks ago, there were responses right away... then it just dropped, and it seems every single topic I have made the last week and a half has no reply to it, including problems I have. I wonder if this might change how it's done or it wou...

Re: Theme does not cache

Maybe this stuff has something to do with the reason that changing the default style does absolutely nothing except add a * beside the style in the styles list, making you go manually change everyone's, including anon user's profiles in board settings and manually change their style to your default ...

Re: Avatars!!

just go to http://www.google.com and do a search for avatars and avatar packs, and stuff. Check around, cause a search for avatar packs turned up some sites right away. You might want to go through them to make sure they are the dimensions and size you have your forum set to, or whatever sizes you'd...

Re: Avatars!!

Go to your Admin Control Panel, to the General Settings tab. Look for the link that says Avatar Settings, then set yes for Use gallery avatars, and also set yes for Enable Avatar Uploading. To upload avatars for your site gallery, you have to upload them yourself through your host control panel or F...

Re: Theme does not cache

If you made some css changes and have the option set to save the changes to database and not the css files themselves, would that cause it to load all the database css info? If phpBB3 is set up to store all the css info in the database instead of ONLY the changes being made, then I think that would ...

Re: How to add a counter to my phpbb forum?

That's nice. I'd like to look into that for a whole site counter or something. Is Google analytics free? But less complex counters and javascript counters would end up counting every time you load the counter, wouldn't they? And that would mean you would have to add those into the index.php under th...

Re: Display last edited time information:

Not really sure about what you said, but that's exactly the reason the "edited by ____ at ______" should be FORCED to be there, whether there is a reason for it or not. ONLY the ability to state a reason for making your edit should be optional. The time should ALWAYS be posted, because of the reason...

Re: Default style

This doesn't fix anyone else's styles that have not chosen a style for themselves. You have to do that anonymous user thing for every single user if you want them to have the board default you set as well. The default style is not working right, and if you add another and make it default, you have t...

Re: GUESTS: don't show logged users: How to ?

I was wondering... is there a way to have two conditions grouped with an AND type of thing? "<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN --> <!-- IF S_DISPLAY_ONLINE_LIST -->" would become something like "<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN and IF S_DISPLAY_ONLINE_LIST -->" To make an IF/ELSE condition that would have both condi...
