Thanks. Since no one ever looks back a page... I installed this mod and it is making threads with images load very slowly. I'm using a very fast computer on a T1 connection, and my server has a fat bandwidth connection and is a fast machine. Threads with one picture aren't a big deal, but threads wi...

I wonder the same thing. This code does not automatically add people to groups. You can manually do it by going into the Admin CP and checking a box. I wanted this to add every user to one main group when they registered (0 posts.) It does not automatically do this. DEV TEAM: Please do something abo...

Because my site is divided up in a way that makes moderators of individual forums like miniature admins. The mods at my board are each responsible for their own pieces of the site, and not all moderators get along with other people on the forum. I have people on the site that I don't mind, and most ...

If I have to do it with the "private" thing, is there any code out there that automatically assigns all users to a specific group when the account is made?

Suspend users from specific forum.

I'd like to know if there's any possible way to suspend a single user from a single forum while allowing him access to the other forums on the site, or if there are any mods that allow for this to happen. I'd like to be able to do this without some wonky solution that involves setting forums to &quo...

Through no help of anyone here, nor any help from the broken built-in search engine. I was able to finally google the answer to this problem here: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=180849 Please fix the search engine. Not being able to search for key words that are either directly related t...

Figured out the second problem on my own. There was some syntax that was incorrect. I'm not sure if it was a problem in the original code itself, or in how I entered it, but it's solved either way.

As for the first problem though, I'm still unable to figure out why I'm getting those error messages.

Also, I'm curious as to what the major changes are to the admin panel between my versions. The changelogs don't seem to tell me very much.

So then what's the solution? I can't keep letting the user leave all of those things in CLOSE_WAIT, as it brings the server to its knees.

Thanks, I searched for that, but well, you get the picture.

It really sucks that these "stop words" seem to include everything that I'm looking for every time I'm looking for them. :?

[solved] Problems quoting/posting while not logged in.

I just went through the updates by hand from 2.0.6 to 2.0.13 (by hand since my board has several mods and custom code.) Prior to these updates, If you attempted to quote someone or make a new post/new topic while logged out, it would first take you to the log in screen, then, after logging in, you w...
