What would you like to do to the posts? If it's a simple edit, you could just run an easy SQL query on the posts table.

You could just drop an .htaccess in your styles folder that just says "deny from all". It should only block requests for styles -- other HTML files in different directories will be safe.

If it shows the directory listing, click on index.php and see what happens. (If there's no index,php, something's wrong.)
