Re: [RC] Element for phpBB 3.3.0

ACP -> Sever configuration -> Load settings -> Recompile stale style components You could try turning this on... Also sometimes it takes 2 clicks in a row of the reload button in your browser for it to actually refresh the cache. ;) Thanks for the reply. Recompile stale style components is already ...

Re: [RC] Element for phpBB 3.3.0

I tried all the usual tricks/fixes multiple times and still nothing. Well just about nothing. It actually went to full width once last night but then returned to the default width and has stayed there. It's a caching issue on my end I'm assuming but what's causing it remains a mystery. It's definite...

Re: [RC] Element for phpBB 3.3.0

Thanks for both of your replies. That's actually what I did but couldn't get the changes to take effect so I figured I'd ask to make sure I was doing it right. Unfortunately it still doesn't work. I tried viewing the style using two different desktop computers with two different browsers on each and...

Re: [RC] Element for phpBB 3.3.0

Beautiful style! Finally something modern that doesn't make phpBB look so archaic.

Anyway, how do you widen this style? I'd like there to be less space on either side. I'm guessing the change has to be made in common.css somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [BETA] Extended Statistics on Index

This is why I figured I'd ask first. Which permissions are you referring to? I guess it doesn't matter as I can't think of any permissions I haven't changed. I run a heavily modified board with some hefty stats so I'd like to display them to members and guests alike without having to click something...

Re: [BETA] Extended Statistics on Index

I just installed this on my forums (v3.2.7) and it's working great! I'd like to change one thing though. Would it be possible to have the expandable panel open by default instead of closed? I'm thinking it might just be a quick edit somewhere? I figured I'd ask first. Let me know, Thanks!

Individual post edit approval

Hello, I'm in great need of an extension that would require mod/admin approval whenever a member attempts to edit one of their posts. I'd also settle for an extension that allows you to set which forums are exempt from the edit post time restriction. Upon searching I found that an extension once exi...

Re: [3.2][RC] Auto-Resize Images Server-side

As an owner of a forum that revolves around members uploaded images, this extension was a total blessing. It would be a wonderful thing If it could be modified to work with 3.2.5.

Re: [3.2][RC] Auto-Resize Images Server-side

Hello, I installed this mod which seems to be working as it should right out of the box besides one complaint. I had a member contact me saying they receive an error stating "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct." when they t...

Re: Cannot access ACP under module management

Alright, after a month of trying to fix this issue, it is finally resolved!! I was able to figure it out myself. Luckily I came across a version of SupportToolkit that's been modified to work with 3.2.x. I used the database cleaner portion of it which upon completion, the ACP module resumed function...

Re: 3.2.1 to 3.2.2 update timeout

I don't know if this will help your specific case, but editing the config.php file mentioned in that locked thread worked for me.

Find:

Code: Select all

mysql
And replace it with:

Code: Select all

mysqli

Re: Cannot access ACP under module management

I would set up a brand new phpbb board and compare the module table from the database with the old board. I have two forums running phpBB on a dedicated server. One has the ACP module problem, and the other forum doesn't have the problem. I logged into phpMyAdmin and compared both of their module t...

Re: Cannot access ACP under module management

I would set up a brand new phpbb board and compare the module table from the database with the old board. And try to upload all the 3.2.1 files again to the server (except the config.php) Thanks for the suggestions. You're the first person to try and actually offer a solution. I have two forums run...

Re: Cannot access ACP under module management

I installed it the proper way but due to another problem with my Configuration tab in the ACP, I couldn't use it. I tried to get it working in a round about way which ended up causing the ACP module to stop functioning. When I would try to do the delete data portion of the uninstall procedure to rem...
