with the compressing thing, you should try and avoid the PHP zip_* features, as you will for that need a PHP module that very few hosts use :)

No, you need reseller hosting on a cPanel/WHM server :)

You might want to change the name of your mod as 'Tracker' will apper to many as 'torrent Tracker', which it has nothing to do with.

You dont have to remember the whole username :)
a "a*" in the search box can cut off many users :)
