Re: adding a space between sub-forums

Something like this should do it,

Code: Select all

.subforum.read {
	margin-left: 4px;
}

Code: Select all

.subforum.unread {
	margin-left: 4px;
}

Re: Forum width

For the table, try changing: <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">

To just: <table>

The side of your forum body has gone blue so you may have lost a closing </div> tag when adding your code to the header.

Re: im looking for ext which can play background music

I think that is album art and not a music player.

Are you trying to stream radio stations? or a play list from something like sound cloud?

RTL with extensions

On my sidebar extension I put the option in the ACP for displaying them on the left side or on the right side. But I'm not sure if I should still add css to make them mirror when viewed on an RTL forum ? I may be mistaken but if an RTL forum admin then selected display on the left, they would displa...

Re: Paid Member Areas

On one of my old car club forums we had paid membership for £10 per year, £3 of it went to me towards running costs, £2 into a pot for my 2 moderators, the other £5 went into a yearly raffle pot as each paying member had a free entry. The forum only had a few ads on it, all car related, but paying m...

Re: Lest we forget

Just a quick suggestion, you could use the Board Announcements extension, https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/boardannouncements/ You could then add the image and text in the extensions tab, also format the text and change the background colour with the editor. When you disable the board in...

Re: .pointer alignment

To move just the notifications pointer you would need to add the class before pointer,

So...

Code: Select all

#notification_list.dropdown .pointer {
	top: -1px;
}
Change the -1px to whatever you want.

Re: NEED HELP ON RUNNING GIVEAWAY ON MY PHPBB

You could try 15 posts, 50 posts is excessive especially if there aren't many other people posting, I'm not sure if people will want to write a story on a board if it's fairly inactive, but you could do a giveaway every few months for different things etc so it would be handy to use when it gets a b...

Re: ACP changes with role

Remember Freeforums etc they allowed admins to access an ACP that had stuff cut out, to me it sounds like the OP wants to play a host role, so he sorts the major behind the scenes stuff and the additional forum admin sorts the basic stuff,

I'd assume it takes a lot of work to do it.

Re: im looking for ext which can play background music

When a user is listening to a song, won't the music stop playing every time he clicks on a forum page?

Re: Unable to change Header image in Latte

I uploaded this style, then changed the logo image (but gave the new logo the same name) then changed some colours in the style sheet - did a CTRL + F5 to refresh the forum page and the changes appear every time. In the ACP --> Load Settings --> Recompile stale style components -- do you have it set...

Won't this put in bold ALL text in inner boxes?
