Re: Is it essential that the Vendor folder & files are uploaded?

Touching on 3Di's suggestion, the 3 network offer free sims with 200mb free data every month - you don't even have to top the sim card up to activate it, it is also pretty fast.

I've only used them in phones but they would probably work in those old wifi dongles that used to have the sim cards in.

Re: I'd like the POST icons 50% bigger? Which file to edit?

You can find the settings for these in content.css You can change the size of those images to 64px which is the size of the image, if you want any bigger than 64px you will probably have to make a new icon set unless anyone can point you in the direction of the originals. (i think there was a post o...

Does anyone how to get a phpBB 3.2 forum to load a different style when a user on an Android phone hits "request mobile version" ? I've a client who wants to upgrade to phpBB3 but he ran a topic with a link to a test forum to get his members opinions and they don't like the responsive side, his old ...

Re: Mini Profile above messages

I just tried that and see no change. don't you have to rearrange the code in the viewtopic_body.html file as well? I believe the css in content.css is overriding it and you also have float left and float right for the same thing. robert Oops i forgot to remove the other DD, i've just changed it, Ha...

Re: Mini Profile above messages

Add this to the bottom of the colours.css or common.css style sheet. /* Change Profile To Above The Post ---------------------------------------- */ .postprofile dt { float: left; margin-left: 0; } .post .postprofile { width: 100%; border-width: 0 0 1px 0; margin: 4px 0 2px 0; padding-bottom: 4px; }...

Re: Is it possible to sandwich phpbb in header and footer?

This extension may save you some time if you want to avoid editing phpbb's template files, Just replace the example header/footer html/css with your own.

Re: Is it possible to sandwich phpbb in header and footer?

I read it as wanting to place phpBB inside their own website header / footer to make it match their site.

Re: Toggle Extension Credits

If that many extensions were on one line it would look bad on small screens,

Would it not be easier to put the trigger for your toggle box under phpBB line,

Re: adding a space between sub-forums

Something like this should do it,

Code: Select all

.subforum.read {
	margin-left: 4px;
}

Code: Select all

.subforum.unread {
	margin-left: 4px;
}

Re: Forum width

For the table, try changing: <table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">

To just: <table>

The side of your forum body has gone blue so you may have lost a closing </div> tag when adding your code to the header.

Re: im looking for ext which can play background music

I think that is album art and not a music player.

Are you trying to stream radio stations? or a play list from something like sound cloud?

RTL with extensions

On my sidebar extension I put the option in the ACP for displaying them on the left side or on the right side. But I'm not sure if I should still add css to make them mirror when viewed on an RTL forum ? I may be mistaken but if an RTL forum admin then selected display on the left, they would displa...

Re: Paid Member Areas

On one of my old car club forums we had paid membership for £10 per year, £3 of it went to me towards running costs, £2 into a pot for my 2 moderators, the other £5 went into a yearly raffle pot as each paying member had a free entry. The forum only had a few ads on it, all car related, but paying m...
