Re: BBCode list: adding bullet point where none should be

Well, however you want to call it. The situation is, that the behavior of this bbcode has changed between all previous phpBB versions and 3.2 So my users used the undefined list bbcode to get some kind of tabs / shift in the text. Now it looks weird with this single bullet point in the first line. B...

Re: Secure Login

Very interesting topic! [...] to see just how faster HTTPS is compared to HTTP. The benefits far outweigh any reasons to not have HTTPS everywhere. How about the server load compared between http and https? For every connection the server has to do the encryption additionally, correct? Will it incre...

Re: [DEV] Support Ticket

If I start the preview twice, everything is displayed twice. So with each preview comes a new entry in the preview. +1 (with phpBB 3.2.0) German language pack for this extension: http://www.board3.de/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=11300 For supportticket_schema.php I'd recommend to set a default value for st...

There is no way that I can, or will, cater for every possible permutation/option that could possibly be wanted.
Alright, nevermind, I thought better to ask. But already expected this. So I'm doing it my way - thank you anyways!

Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

There is no need - prosilver, and this extension, are mobile responsive Well, OK, in the way that it removes the logo completely, yes. I have it in one of my boards, that a mobile phone gets a smaller, fitting logo served. Now, with the setting in your extension, to remove the site name and descrip...

Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

At first: thank you very much for this useful extension! :) If I could request some advancements: I have a board now, I'd like to run with prosilver and a custom style. For both styles, I would like to add different logos. I would like to add a second set of logos in a lower resolution for responsiv...

Re: 3.2 Should be Pulled

To make it really safe, I would add for coming from 3.1:
0.5: disable all extensions, disable / uninstall all styles except for prosilver
7: re-enable each extension one by one and test in between. Install your new or (for 3.2) adapted style

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2 Rhea Feature Release Published

I assume because it's in German and my locale is English. Yes, I think so too. In the meantime I've installed Chrome, including the translation feature. No problem with translating phpbb.com or other English phpBB 3.2 boards to German. The tab headline is fine. I cannot change Chrome to use English...

It's definately Chrome's builtin Google translate that's doing that. Didn't happen if I used Google translate page directly.
Can you please tell me which Chrome version and translator plugin you are exactly using?
Some investigation could be interesting, if it can be handled differently.

Strange!
I guess this is something with your browser (cache?). This forum is running since its beginning with phpBB, more then 10 years already.
Have you tried a different browser?

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2 Rhea Feature Release Published

To give a positive feedback:
My biggest board just made the jump from 3.1 to 3.2
After adapting my style and some extensions, it was a smooth upgrade. Happy to have it finally running with PHP 7 😊
Thanks to everyone who had contributed to this release, again a big step forward!

I'd recommend TC for just about everything (especially on Windows)
Me too. If I'd have to vote for a software of the year, I'd vote for TC - every year.

Re: why is it ALWAYS such a headache to upgrade this software???

Do you know a FTP program for the smartphone? I'd recommend TotalCommander for Android, FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, etc Koraldon, how about these points from your other topic? Ok, let's try to get your perspective on a couple of points: As soon as you decide to open up / run a community / forum, you are als...
