Re: External login by e-mail address

I hate bumping my threads, but I really need help with this.

If anyone could take a look or give me an idea of what else to look at, I would greatly appreciate it!

External login by e-mail address

I am working on a full site integration project which is going swimmingly, up until this point. I know there is a mod to allow login by e-mail address, but I don't want to install mods to the phpbb3 system if I can handle all the changes externally. I would love to, for once, have a clean phpbb inst...

Re: [2.0.21] Delete User MOD

When I typed the address of your site and guessed a couple of times as to the location of your forum install, I found it, then added "delete_user.php" to the end and got a 404, file not found. http://nothingbettertodo.net/forum/delete_user.php If the file was in place, you should get the following e...

There is a file called "delete_user.php" included in the zip download of this mod.

Copy it over to the root of the phpBB install

Re: Random Avatars Mod

OK, I just needed a few minutes with it to see what was up. This will only happen in a very specific situation: User has random_avatars=No. User adds an avatar. User changes random_avatars=Yes. I am PMing you the change code from 1.0.17 to add a quick and dirty fix. I don't want to publish the fix h...

There are not upgrade instructions for the pre-validation (1.1.7) version. There will be with future updates.

Re: Random Avatars Mod

Thanks for coming around, Wads24. Great mod!!! First of all... I notice though that if user only has 1 avatar uploaded, and selects yes for random avatar, the avatar shows as missing... is this a fix for this? I thought this issue came up a long time ago and was resolved. I will have to do some chec...

Re: Random Avatars Mod

The per user control is below the "Use Random Avatars" setting on the user administration page. It reads "(Admin) Random Avatars Enabled". Login as admin, go to the ACP > User Administration > Look up a user, then down in the avatars section you will find these settings. If you want to initially hav...

Re: [ALPHA] Enable Avatars By Post Count Mod - 1.0.7

Well done, AsciiSector! The only problem I see with this is if the person who first views the post is not the poster himself. It was easiest to write to mod to change the database when someone viewed the post, because all the right tables were open. By default, phpBB wants to automatically forward y...
