But how are you going to stop them changing it?
I am not interested in stopping them from changing it, they can do that if they don't like it.

That's not the aim :?

Re: Turn On "Email Notification" For PM As Default

Do you mean includes/functions_user.php because I can't see any folder named functions

Make a copy of your /functions/user.php, rename it to user.txt and attach it here.

By "didn't work" do you mean that it did not send an email? Was the user logged on at the time that the PM was sent ? Did you purge the cache after making the changes? Yes, didnt send email. Also tried with the user logged in - Email notification still didnt Yes, I purged the cache I manually check...

Turn On "Email Notification" For PM As Default

Hello people, I am trying to set Notify Me by Email "On" as default for all board members. I did this in functions_user.php 'user_notify' => 1, and ran this query UPDATE phpbb_users SET user_notify = 1 WHERE user_type <> 2; I still couldn't get it to work. Please how can I achieve this

Try to disable the htaccess and use a other browser for testing and access the ACP
Got this error when I removed htaccess

so this direct site to url.com instead of url.com/index.php.
And that is the reason you can't access the ACP I think.
Can you disable it for testing?
It's an extension, I can't get to ACP to disable

Yes, it is
100% sure?

Because there is a different in https://www.url.com/ and https://www.url.com/index.php how do you do that?
I am using portal for my homepage
so this direct site to url.com instead of url.com/index.php.

Is there a redirect in the htaccess of your root? Yes, I have this and it doesn't make any difference when removed # Redirect non-www to (ssl) www RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^url\.com [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.url.com/$1 [L,R=301] # Redirect non-SSL to SSL RewriteCond %{HTT...

How did you revert the database?
I didn't do anything with the database, it's still on the host

While trying to updating to 3.2.4, when I entered myurl.com/install
nothing happened, it only directed me to the message I set for disable board in board setting.
