the problem is only on phpbb. other swf files are being displayed.
so i hope the team of phpbb will find a solution for this problem.

well i use IE7 and suddenly the swf didnt show up anymore.

i wonder if it has to do with the script that is used to show swf in phpbb?
for other swf files in other pages have no problem.
only on the forum the swf files do not display anymore.

well i was able to use these swf files with the same version of phpbb i use now.

all of a sudden the swf files didnt show up anymore.

Hello all, I also have the same problem: flash files do not display anymore in the forum. I tried all the solutions that were explained above, but still the flash files do not display. is it possible that a combination of ie7 and flash player 10 make the files not to be displayed hope somebody has a...

thanks Boggle, i contacted my host and just as you expected it has been a dos attack. :(
Will see what he suggests to prevent from being attacked like this

well only registered users can post, user activation is set to admin but now guest come in on home site of forum and then in few seconds same guest is in 500-600 times with the same ip.

any other ideas

hi folks, my forum was hacked yesterday. most of the posts were deleted. i checked my version and updated to 2.0.13 but today they try to get forum down by making much same connections( 200 ) using one ip only . They come in as guest and get the forum running very very slow. if i ban the ip within 5...
