Re: [ALPHA] Multilingual Forums

Hi Vogelek23, Thanks for your feedback! You're right, it would be nicer if this MOD made better use of the language pack system present in phpBB. However, what you suggest would require the end user to edit the language files every time they want to make a change to a forum name or description, whic...

Re: [BETA] Dynamic Avatar

Updated to version 0.9.3 (ZIP) Changes: AutoMOD compatibility, fixed jQuery linking issue in UCP. View release notes @mentioned offitype, thanks for taking the time to write that up! I'll include that feature in the next release. What do you mean by tabbed display? @Sequor, I wish I had seen your p...

Re: [BETA] Where's Waldo

Updated to version 0.1.1. It's a minor cosmetic change to the ACP module, so there's no need to update from 0.1.0.

Download v0.1.1 (ZIP file)

Re: [ALPHA] Multilingual Forums

I've added support for forum descriptions. Updated to v0.1.0 (see original post for the download link). Najd D, if you want to update from v0.0.3, just uninstall the old version (using AutoMOD) then upload v0.1.0 and install that, then run the update script (multiling_mod_install.php). Let me know i...

Re: [ALPHA] Multilingual Forums

It looks like you didn't run the MOD installation script to update the database. If you installed through AutoMOD, it should have presented you with a link to that script right after installing. Run that (go to multiling_mod_install.php in the root of your board, and follow the instructions). If you...

Re: [BETA] Dynamic Avatar

Hi Sequor,

Were you able to make the required edits to includes/constants.php and run the dynamo_mod_install.php file, as explained in the install.xml file? Those need to be done before you will be able to use the MOD :)

Re: [PHPBB 3.0.11] Edit Cynthia Style colors

Looks like you've figured most of this out already :) The only thing I can see that hasn't been done is the link in the header, to the left of "Board index". To add that, open styles/Cynthia/template/overall_header.html and find this line: <li><a href="{U_INDEX}">{L_INDEX}</a></l...

Re: Category and forum names in two languages

Hi, There have been a few requests for this sort of feature, but I've never been able to find a released MOD to accomplish this. However, I found a post here that suggests a simple workaround that should be fine for your needs, assuming you only want Polish and English. It's not going to work exactl...

Re: How to fix avatar line?

You could specify a width for the table cell (td element) containing the avatar image. Make sure this width is greater than the maximum avatar image width.

If you're not sure how to do this, post a link to your board and I can tell you what edits to make :)

Re: [BETA] Dynamic Avatar

Hi suzukichi, Thanks again for your feedback. Version 0.9.2 (see above for link) fixes the caching problem. Just reupload the changed files (or make the edits as shown in the diff) and the changes should take effect the next time any user edits their avatar. You shouldn't need to do anything else to...

Re: [BETA] Dynamic Avatar

Version 0.9.2 is now out. Please test it and report any bugs either here or on GitHub . The only change is that caching prevention is now improved (so that instead of saving a new image each time a user modifies their avatar, it only saves one image and uses a different method to prevent the browser...

Re: Founder/Admin cant see .mods tab in ACP (permissions?)

Are you sure the MODs tab should be there? That is, are there MODs installed? If not, the tab will not show up. Otherwise, making yourself a founder is enough to reveal it, if it's there. To hide your presence, simply set "Hide my online status:" to true in the UCP -> Board Preferences, li...
