Re: Accidentally Deleted Cache Folder, Now Getting Fatal Error

Welp, restoring from a backup file from two days ago did the trick. When I attempted to restore the missing files "from a simple download from this site," it didn't solve my problem, and I did not, in fact, upload to the /phpbb folder that comes with the install (my web service provider happened to ...

RESOLVED: Accidentally Deleted Cache Folder, Now Getting Fatal Error

Hello! I did do a forum search for my issue and I found a couple of solutions (so I followed them—adding back in a new cache folder that is 777 and a blank index.htm page to that folder). I have gone ahead and downloaded 3.2.7 (I was running 3.2.5 and going to upgrade), saved my config.php, /files, ...

Application Form to BBCode-Styled Forum Post

I'm looking for a form that, when submitted, creates a new forum post using that has the output of those form fields put into pre-determined BBCode-styled areas in the post. Basically, a user fills out a form that asks their name and for a few blocks of text, and when they hit submit, the post has t...

Re: Dice Roller

Is this still available via the link a few pages back? The user/password combination didn't work.

I'd love to find a dice rolling extension for 3.2!

Thanks!

Re: [BETA] [forum permission] Allow viewing topics started by others

Alright, so I've installed this extension. Could I get a walk through on how to set up a Forum and User/Group Permissions so that this works properly? I don't see any instruction, and I'd like to set up a Moderator Ticket Forum where my users can post their "request" and only the OP user and moderat...

Re: Attempted to uninstall an Extension and cannot access ACP anymore

Yes. Something like that. I did solve my problem by downloading the Author's other extension (Bread Crumb Menu). So, those two things come bundled in the proper version of the Recent Topics Extension, but of course there's a few places to download it that seem to be incomplete. I've sorted everythin...

Re: Attempted to uninstall an Extension and cannot access ACP anymore

Ah. Thank you. As far as I know, I've installed everything correctly, but it appears as though I needed a second extension in order to keep the first one working: this Bread Crumb Menu ... hmm. Interesting. I have extracted the ZIP file into the proper folders and see now that there is no /ext/payba...

Attempted to uninstall an Extension and cannot access ACP anymore

Hello! I installed this Recent Topics extension version 2.2.6 only to see that there was a newer version, 2.2.7 . So I deactivated it and then uninstalled it before installing the newer version. Now, I cannot access the ACP but the rest of the board works just fine. I get the error below when I try ...

Nevermind. Fixed.

Topic unnecessary now that I've fiddled while waiting.

Re: Making a div using column-count into a BBCode?

Okay, the strangest thing is this: When I preview my post using the code above, it works. When I post it, it doesn't. So the previewed post shows three columns, but the posted content just shows [columns=3]text text text[/columns]. This seems like a deeper issue, perhaps with my style? Or something ...

Making a div using column-count into a BBCode? | SOLVED

I've seen this elsewhere on other phpBB forums: [columns=3]text text text[/columns] and it creates a dynamic 3-column text block. I've gone ahead and made the code: [columns={NUMBER}]{TEXT}[/columns] Which calls up this: <div style="width:100%; margin:0px auto; -webkit-column-count: {NUMBER}; -moz-c...
