Thanks MapleShilc,

Anyone else know any way to cheat or use an online translater so that you can navigate a phpBB forum through one and stay logged in?
Maybe something to do with cookies ... or something ???

thanks,
Lee

hmm I still get dumped outside of the translator on a new forum page selection. I'm using Mozilla Firefox with 'first party' cookies enabled, if that's relevant. More relevant (maybe) is that I am also using a proxy server. ?? Lee Edit : I can browse a forum inside translation, but the issue seems t...

Viewing a phpBB forum through an online translator

hello anyone who knows, As a logged-in user on a phpBB forum, is it possible to view the forum through an online translator and remain in translation throughout the navigation? I ask because it is my experience so far that i can log in via a translator, but then subsequent page selections dump me ba...

leecovuk Easist fix for you since you seem to have an old version of bbcode.php, is to take a fresh copy of bbcode.php from the phpbb 2.0.19 download package and add in the box code MOD in three places. It shouldn't be hard to find where they go. Thanks Dicky, I'll give it a go. I don't think I hav...

Nobody seems to want to help me .... :( If I show you my pre-existing bbcode.php here (link here) as well as the mod changes for that file (below), could someone (who is sure of their knowledge) please show me how to change my bbcode.php ? It is more complex than I am able to work out, because some ...

hello any experts; I have had trouble with this upgrade mod, due to my bbcode.php being different to the phpbb default. (due to previous board mods) I tried to amend the mod intelligently to make the FIND statements work, but I had to guess what to do really. (I don't understand php) After running t...

Questions about mods which embed video and audio

hello anyone who knows for sure, before I further consider these issues; 1) I believe the <embed> tag does not officially exist in html, so what consequences are there of these mods using it? 2) Why do some mods offer [video] and [stream] bbcodes? I understand that [stream] is meant to be used for m...

thanks, I think I understand. Presumably Acyd Burn's mod works in a similar way to yours; it does however search 'topic titles' although it also includes 'message (post) subjects', as I described earlier. Maybe I'll try and ask him for his take on this, although it is not a major issue that topic ti...

hello, Can I please check something here, having done a little testing ; This mod adds the functionality to: search only the titles of messages not search only the titles of topics Is that right ? It seems to me that we need usually to be searching the 'topic title' because the 'message title' in a ...

hello Digest fans, This actually refers to the dormlife.us 1.3.4 Email Digests mod, but I'm posting here because the author Indemnity is a little too busy to help at the moment; Basically, I (and apparently others) are finding BBCode resolution trouble in digests when using that mod on a 'vanilla' p...

No problem;
my use of the word 'performance' was probably a little misleading.
I mean 'results', I suppose.
