BBcode Correct?

Good morning,

Is the following valid?

[img=http://www.w3.org/Icons/valid-xhtml11]XHTML 1.1[/img]

If yes, why isn't it displayed correctly?

Best Regards,
Yves

does this mod can set the SSL to use https://annotherDomain/myDomainName/folder/file ? or there is a plugin where I can define a custom SSL url? This MOD doesn't allow to set anything. It allows to not set the "Domain Name", "Script path", "Cookie domain" and "Cookie path" and still having a workin...

Re: Server Port

i am hosting on 8080, any connections on 80, are redirected to 8080 in my Smoothwall, maybe set it back to 80 ?? From outside your server can only be reached through the port 80, the redirection is invisible to the user. Try to set 80 as port number. This might lead to inside problems for you thoug...

I created a user on your site and tryed to login. I got redirected to http://www.pirates-paradise.com:8080/Forum/index.php?sid=f12a4c0eafa40b467867e5d4d22663d9 Check in your ACP if the "Server Port" is correct. This value is mainly used during login, so its sometimes hard to discover an error there.

Re: small issue

Cookie Domain: Blank Cookie Path: / Both settings make sense. Check in the ACP if you have the same settings for "Domain Name" and "Script path"... The MOD sets "Cookie domain" and "Cookie path" if they are left empty. What you might try if the problem persists: # #-----[ OPEN ]--------------------...

This MOD won't allow you to do this.

SailFan wrote: Any thoughts?

First I was thinking I would need to know the URL of your domain and sent you a PM.
Finally I have an other idea: if you use Apache you need to define two VirtualHost's, one for each domain.

Sorry, it was an example, basically, if I have 2 domains, do I need to do any configuration? or is it automatic as long as it is set blank in the admin panel? Don't feel sorry. If you can access the same board from the 2 domains, then you don't need any special configuration apart installing the MO...

If I register at something like afraid.org and get a short url that is parked on mine, both will be able to access the board? No config needed?

I do know neither of those two companies, but AFAIK it should work...

A simple forward is how I tie the new domain to an existing forum? I am not sure if I do understand, but you need to get the new domain (or subdomain) in any way to point to the same phpBB2 folder. This can be done by using the same IP and allowing it in your webserver or in any other way that lead...

To both SailFan and Minoesj : ## This MOD requires some changes in your configuration in the admin control panel: ## - if you want to use multiple domain names, then you need to remove any entry in the "Domain Name" field ## - if you want to use different access paths, then you need to remove any en...

I have http://www.originaldomain/forum setup up with 2.0.15 now. I also have http://www.newdomain/support sitting empty. I want the new domain to point to the original forum install. Do I just install this MOD, then forward the new domain to the original domain? (leaving domain blank in the ACP)? I...

Re: A minor change that may be helpful to some people....

$forum_id = ($forum_id) ? $forum_id : 0; Unfortunately $forum_id might not have been initialised here, which is bad style and could lead to security problems... I would use: OPEN merge.php FIND $from_title = ''; AFTER, ADD $forum_id = 0; FIND $sql = "SELECT topic_title FROM " . TOPICS_TABLE . " WHE...
