Re: [3.2][RC] Auto db Backup

Hi everyone!

I have uploaded and enabled the extension, however I do not see its settings under the tab "extensions". I have also purged the cache to no avail.

Any help, please? Thanks!

Re: [RC] Adsense & Ads for phpBB

Hi everyone! I am using this extension too and I have an Adsense account that is in good standing and approved, so I can start displaying ads on my forum. I have used the search feature but I haven't found much at all to answer my questions as follows: Are there banner ads on Adsense that also pay b...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Hi everyone! I am posting my question here as I know that this extension has an impact on cookies, I sincerely hope that I am not OT. In my board the cookie does not seem to be working correctly, as it seems to expire in less than an hour if the browser stays open and forces everyone to login again ...

I think I should go and take a bit of fresh air! I forgot to delete the contents of the cache folder! :D

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

For some strange reason it didn't register the acceptance date from the Admin. That is probably because you did not set "Force privacy acceptance" to "Yes" I did, that's why it's strange. I had an old RC5, now I have uploaded the new RC6 over RC5 (creating a new language folder "it" for the Italian...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Hi, I have setup a new forum, and it would seem that I am now stuck with the only Admin unable to access the ACP. Although I have accepted both Cookie and GDPR, when I click on it, it does nothing at all. How can I regain access to the ACP, please? I'm happy to fiddle with the database if needed. I...

Extension to send a warning as a group, not individual mod

Hello, I wonder if there is an extension that, when issuing a warning, can replace the PM sent to the user from "moderator so and so has sent you a warning" to, rather, "the moderation team has sent you a warning". This will be useful to avoid members who get easily offended and start harassing the ...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

The only thing that has changed between last night (when everything worked perfectly) and today has been that I have enabled full text search. No styles, no other extensions have been installed at all. Out of interest, which variant "full text" search did you go from and to. I have just tried rebui...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

In addition, it is very strange that the members that have already accepted previously the Privacy policies can click on the link at the bottom to read the policies again, whilst a new member who wants to register can't see either the acceptance or can read the policies at all as clicking on the lin...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Any suggestions, please? You could try disabling and re-enabling ( do not delete data ) - although why rebuilding the search index would cause that to happen I cannot imagine. Thanks! Sorry David, I should have said that in my post. I have also tried to disable it, clean cache and sessions again, l...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Hi again David, Today, something weird has happened to my forum (it is still down for maintenance whilst I work on the privacy policies). All of a sudden, the request to accept the Privacy GDPR does not work anymore, even if it is enabled in the settings. The only thing that has changed between last...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Thanks again David for a wonderful extension. Really useful. Everything works fine for my forum, however I have a question for you. At the moment when people look at the policies page (as either a new user before registration or a registered user) the Cookie policy shows at the top and the Privacy G...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

When an extension is not appearing in the ACP then 99 times out of 100 it is because you have the wrong directory structure. You should have [board root]/ext/david63/privacypolicy/[files and folders] There is no need to CHMOD any files when installing any extension. Thanks a million David, now it w...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Thank you immensely @david63 for your great extension, which is surely going to make my headache a less lot severe! I am trying to install the extension as per instructions in the OP, I have uploaded by FTP in /public_html/ext/david63 and also given 755 recursive permission to the folder. However, m...
