I can't get mine to turn on. I've checked the forum permissions for users and they are all turned on but in my forum permissions there is no place that says to allow for Topic Icons.
Thanks so much for your help. I got everything except the topic icons working in the new install and even managed to save all the posts and no errors using img tags!
I set up another folder and did a clean install, images and everything worked fine until I imported the other database into the new one and then the problems with the img tags came back so I'm assuming it's something in the database. Those all work fine. I don't get the error until the actual address for the image goes in and it doesn't seem to matter what image address I use or whether it's on the same server or a different one.
I also have other phpbb3.0.1 boards on this same server and I am able to post images on them.
