HELP! Lost the left hand pane in the Admin Panel!

I need some serious help. I have lost the left hand pane in the admin panel. I had just installed EasyMOD and everything went OK. I was in my FTP site and uploading another mod - memberlist_access into the admin/mods directory. When I went back into the admin panel to try out easy mod the entire lef...

Re: Updating from 2.0.21 to 2.0.22 - What to choose? How to do i

Ditto for me. I read through the instructions and I need to know a few things ... 1. In the full install instructions, when it says delete all phpBB files - I will do that literally. But, is that what it means? ALL files? Or is there some unexplained instruction there that only more knowledgeable fo...

mobile compatible?

How do you make one's forum mobile compatible? I've been to a couple forums powered with Joomla, I think, and it automatically recognizes that you're surfing via a mobile device and adjusts the look and layout of the forum for easier navigation. Any way to do something similar with phpBB or does one...

Alternatively, (if you used EasyMOD) you can restore all the modified files which should be located in the "mods/approval_mod/backups" directory and then reapply the latest version of Approval MOD. That will only work if you did not install any MODs after the Approval MOD. I assume by this statemen...

So now with all these bug fixes, how can I install the latest 'version' when I already have RC1 installed?

Thanks, Art.

Yeah, I just installed [RC2] Approval MOD for phpBB 2.0.21+ This MOD can be found here http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=438534 This one is extremely easy to install using EasyMOD. There is another [BETA] Post Control / Approval MOD here: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=360253 Re...

I believe in this case it would be the admin/user_edit_body.tpl file. Checked this file out twice. Nada. Could it be something to do with includes/template.php and includes/sessions.php ? My simple English reading the error message tells me something in template.php did something to screw up sessio...

Oops. Nevermind. I'm reading the post as the poster! I can't read it when I'm someone else. Everything's fine now.

Thanks very much for this MOD and all your help!

After that everything should hopefully work as designed. All's still not well. OK You solved the first problem (I can see the old posts), but now I see all my new posts (as just some user) even though I checked off in the forum management area (as an admin) that I want them approved first. Oiy! Reg...

Have you ever used phpMyAdmin before? You're giving me a lot of credit with that question. LOL! That would be "no". You need to execute SQL queries directly on your SQL database. :-) phpMyAdmin is the best for this purpose. Sure. Again, I'll take your word for it. Went to their website and will dow...

Which versions of PHP and EasyMOD are you running? Which database (MySQL/Postgresql/Oracle/MSSQL) are you using? phpBB - 2.0.21 EasyMOD - v0.3.0 Beta MySQL 4.0 What happens to those disappeared posts if you go to the Admin CP and uncheck the "Enable Approval System" box? Does everything then work e...

Error message after changing admin password?

I'm not sure where to post this message, so I appologize if this is the wrong place. Recently, I decided to change my admin password. The following message (highlighted) appeared: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /includes/template.php(127) : eva...

Prior = before. So, your "existing posts are not shown BEFORE you install this MOD"? Or after? I am sorry, but I am not sure what you mean by this. Sorry, to be clear (I hope): The posts that were already posted before I installed the Approval MOD either do not show or or have the "need to approve"...
