Re: Message deleted without warning

from what I have seen over the years, when one of us thinks that happened it turns out we made a mistake in posting or the post got moved and we couldn't find it. I would guess that if you were to contact one of the support team via PM they could and would find out what happened to your post. robert

Re: Is it possible to have PHPBB at SomeDomain.com & SomeDomain.com/Forums/ ?

actually it depends on what type of other pages you want. if you want pages to be added to your board, that look like your phpbb then those instructions will help you. also, If that is what you want then there is an extensions called "pages" that will let you do it very easily. ' however, if you are...

Re: Blank page after fresh instalation

you must set all folders to 755 except for the cache, files, images/avatars/upload and store folders.
all files must be set to 644

that is all.

that quote means that the author of the extension being discussed was going to try and change his extension to be able to do what the OP asked for. however, the OP did not know what he was talking about. the website he linked to as an example of wanting an image before each topic title does not show...

Re: Future of phpBB while PHP loses traction to Javascript

I am not a programmer at all. I thought javascript was on the way out. anyway, php has become the web standard as far as I can tell. That article seems to have been written by a node.js fanboy who, while giving php credit for its benefits, always seems to believe that it is just old school and shoul...

Re: noindex, nofollow in the header

I get my opinions from over 20+ years of experience and from google itself. most of the SEO info you come across online is based on old information. google says that content is important. the more relevant content the higher the ranking. whoever told you that there can be soo much content doesn't kn...

Re: Old Submerge style - can it be adapted to PHPBB3.2.5?

that is not a 3.0 style it is a phpbb 2 style.
the best thing you can do is start with a new phpbb 3.2.5 style that resembles it in layout and maybe in colors.
then edit that style to look like the old one using colors and background images etc.

Re: How to add a custom image to the ban message screen

just some helpful suggestions: replace that collection of background images with just one image. your background takes forever to load. and, nobody can see all those images behind the board anyway and, you can add your name to the credits along with the original designer. for example: HikiOta Style ...

Re: Force https and www
