Re: Migrating Server Avatars

did you by chance use filezilla to move/transfer the files?

if so, did you remember to set filezilla to transfer all files in binary mode?

if not then you need to dump that set of images and transfer again using binary only.

ascii mode corrupts images.

Re: question #2 - copy of contact email

ok, now we are around the circle again. if you want somebody to tell you how to rewrite the code to make it do something it was never intended to do, you must be willing to pay for it. Doing that will not be any where near as easy as you think it would be. I doubt you will find anyone here that will...

Re: question #2 - copy of contact email

once again, you are assuming that things like this are easy. If they are that easy then why don't you figure it out and do it? I don't know that changing the email template will get you what you want. ( I doubt it will ) how ever, as you have been told, those templates are in the language/yourlangua...

Re: urls

what you keep saying is dont' ask me why, I just want it, tell me how to do it. for certain things people will tell you how to change things. for most others that you have asked for it would require a pretty major amount of rewriting of the basic code. as I said before, most of the things you are as...

Re: question #3 - post report

just so you know, IPs don't tell you anything about a person except their ISP and maybe, just maybe, the city they are in.
currently my IP shows me to be either in Dallas or 'Fortworth texas. I am really several hundred miles away from the metroplex.

Re: question #1 - user's email

also, until you have had a board for a very long time with lots of members etc. you have no idea what your members will want or how they would prefer it to work. phpbb has been around a long time. it is user supported mostly. the people here that have developed it and that support it have seen what ...

Re: urls

google does not care how you create one. it doesn't mean that you have to manually do it. use one of the extensions or just forget it altogether. a sitemap is mainly for a static html based website. phpbb is a dynamic php based site and it changes all the time. so, however you create a sitemap it wi...

Re: Header question

what I see in firefox is still the same background image stretching across the header with the site url in the middle. there are no links to anything in the image. above the image is one word: header that word is a link to here: http://1club4alltv.com/prosilver/theme/images/blogheader.jpg which does...

Re: User Permissions to Delete and Edit Posts

actually that is the default settings for the standard access role in group forum permissions for the registered user group.
that should be everyone because everyone should be in the registered user group by default.

Re: [BETA] i want a pink

we still do not know what you actually want.

do you want a pink style that looks like the image you posted?

do you want to know how to change your style to look like that one?

do you want to change that style?

what exactly are you asking for.

details please, more words please.

Re: [BETA] i want a pink

it would also help if you used more than one or two words to describe what you want. even that image did not help.
use complete sentences and describe in detail exactly what your question /request is.

Re: Hacker Problem

your assumption that phpBB was hacked is not likely to be accurate. if the hackers got in to your board they probably got in through your hosting or some other software or something. there have been no known security breaches of phpBB3 since it first came out in 2007. it is possible that they could ...
