Re: Youtube video showing in preview, not submitted post

we need a link to your board. a direct link to a post where this is happening. also, it would help to have a test account with permissions to post so we can test. there were changes made to the bbcode part of the code with this update so that could be causing it. now you no longer have to use bbcode...

Re: Problem completing a 3.2.4 to 3.2.5 update

https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.2/kb/article/updating-32x/ that is the correct method to update phpbb. I assume that your database is already updated from what you posted above. therefore, there is no reason to upload the folder named install. other than that, you can follow those instructio...

Re: Anna style ?

nope, you can't download it there either. it is too old. just download prosilver_se from here. change the header to an image or whatever. copy the forum read/unread etc. images and replace the prosilver_se ones with them. install the extension that lets you change to header to a banner . done. robert

Re: Problem completing a 3.2.4 to 3.2.5 update

best thing to do is make a new backup of the files via ftp then upload all new files except for the config.php file and the folder named install. then check. the problem was most likely that you were using the auto update method. the best way to update/upgrade is by the file replacement method. the ...

Re: The requested page could not be found error why....???

it would help if you at least gave us a link to your board so we can do some tests.
a test account would be a good idea as well.

thanks,

Re: Stuck in the ACP Reauthenticate Loop

I don't show a board at that address using https. I do show the board with http you have cookie secure set to yes but apparently do not have ssl installed on the server. try the login and don't use https and see what happens. if you are supposed to have a ssl certificate in place, contact your host ...

Re: HTTP 500 error when installing

don't reinstall. just reupload the files.

install means to create a new database and go through the whole install process.

all you need to do is upload the files with ftp. just don't upload the blank config.php file or the folder named install.

Re: HTTP 500 error when installing

all of those errors seem to be telling you that files are missing that would be there if you are uploading them all.

is your ftp program timing out for some reason? does it show all transfers as complete?

Re: HTTP 500 error when installing

ok, using your ftp, delete everything from the cache folder except for the index and htaccess files. if you are using anything other than a good ftp program to upload files, don't. if you are trying to upload the files one at a time or in bunches, don't. if you have a good ftp program you can simply...

Re: Can I update from 3.0.12 to 3.2.5?

yes, the support toolkit has a database cleaner included. you will need to run that on the old 3.0 board before you start any of the upgrade process. once that is done and you have removed all the database settings for the MODs then you can follow the rest of the upgrade process. be aware that the s...

you type in the url. click on the url link bbcode button. use your arrow key and move the cursor to immediately after the l [url] type =http://whatever .com so it will look like this [url=http://phpbb.com] then move the cursor in between the bbcode tags and type whatever text you want so that is loo...

Re: [SPLIT] create a clickable button on a topic

you could also create a normal thank you page that paypal redirects the buyer to that has the download link on it. that is way most people that use paypal to sell downloads do it. you set it all up in your paypal account. none of this has anything to do with phpbb except that the buyer may come from...
