also, be sure to purge the cache after you make any changes to the html files and reupload them.

then refresh your browser to see those changes.

Re: Extension list displaying only one of them

Re: Need help getting the forum rolling.

first thing to do is to replace all of the files in the ftp with ones you download from here, except for the config.php file. the files that come with those hosting one click installs are not the same files that phpbb.com provides and supports. once you get that done, you can then access the admin p...

Re: Fatal Error

uncompressing it on the server the first time is probably what caused the corrupted files. doing it the second time you just got lucky. we have seen that cause many many problems over the years ever since that became possible to do. I suggest you always unzip the file on your computer first then upl...

check your config.php file to make sure it has mysqli instead of mysql as the database type.

Re: db upgrade question

what happens when you click on that big "update" button at the bottom of the page you showed above?

click on that, on the next page you should see a message about updating the database only, click on that.

Re: Where can I change the phpBB database.

I believe you are looking for the config.php file . you have to access it directly on the server using ftp. download the file, copy it. then edit it and upload it back to the server.

purge the cache and it should then show you whatever database you put in the file.

If I remember correctly, if the file is not there it will simply ignore the include statement. that would show you that the file is not there.

Re: New Rank Graphics on phpBB-com - to wide .. ?

yep, when on my 32 inch monitor the width looks fine. If I reduce the window to phone size the image sort of overlaps other things on the page. it does not reduce in size much , if at all.
