Re: Forum Style Name

nobody has created a new version of that style. probably because there is nothing special about it. it is just a black/dark grey style and there are plenty of those for 3.1 and a couple for 3.2 check them out here: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/style/prosilver/demo/3.2 here is one that wouldn't...

Re: Forum Ranks

no, it means that if you choose to use your own rank images you will have to make some that work in phpbb.

in your case that means you have tyo learn how to use a graphics editing program to make the the right size.

Re: after 30% updating database (update to 3.2.2

edit your old config.php file to show mysqli instead of mysql it would be best to update to 3.0.14 first. then to 3.2.1 then maybe to 3.2.2 there are some bugs in 3.2.2 that would require you to edit several of the core files to fix. I would just wait until they release an update to 3.2.3 with those...

Re: Forum Ranks

not sure why you needed to send only me the link in a PM but anyway; that image is way too big to use for a rank. click on the link I gave you above and you will see what size images you need to be using. robert I don't know what you mean. I mean your image is way too big to use for a rank image. I...

Re: Should I update my old config.php?

you should copy a current config.php file and just change the database access info from your old one into the new one.
leave everything else alone.

Re: Confirmaton Image

hi, if you want to post screenshots please do not put them in the code bbcode. just use the img bbcode instead. that way we don't have to copy and paste the url into a new window to be able to see your screenshots. also, if what you want to change is board language then it will be in the language fi...

Re: Fatal Error Migrating existing forum to PHP 7 host

just to be clear, his advice to run the STK was only if you had reverted back to your 3.0 board files and database. the STK does not work on 3.1 or 3.2

Re: User password change not working

everyone is a member of the registered userr group upon registration. there is a newly registered user group that you can activate if you need it for some reason. not sure what your situation is but if you removed yourself from the registered user group you need to put yourself back in that group an...

Re: Forum Ranks

need a link to the board and permission to see the post where you can see the rank image.

most likely it is just too big an image. ranks are not like avatars, they should be small images like you see here

Re: Custom Message

two problems with that. 1. never open any phpbb file in notepad. use editpad or notepad++ regular notepad adds certain bits of code that you can not see that cause this problem also, you should not use a contraction in any of the language files. You'r is wrong to begin with, it should be Your and, i...

Re: Delete all board cookies

there would have to be some type of integration with the cookies from every extension that has ever been made and ever might be made in order for that to happen technically, the button does exactly what it is supposed to do. it deletes all the cookies that phpbb sets. as you have discovered, it does...

Re: Fatal Error Migrating existing forum to PHP 7 host

and just to be clear, the answer to your question above is NO. the users/forums etc. etc. are not in any of the files. they are all in the database.

also, you can not just transfer the users /forums etc. from one database to another because all of the database tables are interconnected.
