Re: Fatal Error

uncompressing it on the server the first time is probably what caused the corrupted files. doing it the second time you just got lucky. we have seen that cause many many problems over the years ever since that became possible to do. I suggest you always unzip the file on your computer first then upl...

check your config.php file to make sure it has mysqli instead of mysql as the database type.

Re: db upgrade question

what happens when you click on that big "update" button at the bottom of the page you showed above?

click on that, on the next page you should see a message about updating the database only, click on that.

Re: Where can I change the phpBB database.

I believe you are looking for the config.php file . you have to access it directly on the server using ftp. download the file, copy it. then edit it and upload it back to the server.

purge the cache and it should then show you whatever database you put in the file.

Re: Delete Forum Cookies Question

if you change the cookie name, it will force all members to have to login the next time they visit the board to get the new cookie. if you click on the delete cookies button it should delete all cookies related to your board from your browser. you might need to purge the cache and/or log out before ...

monitoring’ implies that the Controller has a “specific purpose in mind for the collection and subsequent reuse of the relevant data about an individual’s behavior within the EU. that says to me that unless you are collecting data(cookies etc.) for a specific purpose ( other than just simply becaus...

Re: checking for include in Template

If I remember correctly, if the file is not there it will simply ignore the include statement. that would show you that the file is not there.

Re: New Rank Graphics on phpBB-com - to wide .. ?

yep, when on my 32 inch monitor the width looks fine. If I reduce the window to phone size the image sort of overlaps other things on the page. it does not reduce in size much , if at all.

Re: New Rank Graphics on phpBB-com - to wide .. ?

I wonder why the rank images were changed. they are way too wide for smaller screens. they are not responsive properly.
they do not look nearly as good as the other ones do.

Re: Doubts before convert forum vbulletin 4.2.5 to phpbb3

actually you are looking at the style update situation backwards. if you change prosilver then you have to manually update it every time there is an update. if you create a custom style/child style, then you only have to update the few files in it that may need it when phpbb gets an update. prosilve...

Re: when updating someone forgot to disable mods and now the update isnt installing right

doesnt look like I can add another phpbb install without paying for one. plus the command shell is different now than it used to be. Less DOS like, so trying to find directories to locate the cookies isnt going to be easy at all. Why am I starting to get a feeling like im screwed not sure what any ...
