Re: Slow typing response

good point, but it is a strange coincedence.
if the problem is the same one I experience from time to time with firefox it usually relates to some firefox extension I have installed. when I remove them, the typing delay going away.

hard to say exactly what it is.

Re: Site logo redirect to index page

ok, but you must have made some kind of mistake when you did those edits. I have looked at the code from your site and it is nothing like the code in my copy of canvas style.

Re: Slow typing response

the common denominator here seems to be chrome browser. I don't use it so all I can tell you is what I have seen here lately. 'there are quite a few problems with the latest couple of chrome updates apparently. not sure what chrome changed but it does seem to be having a problem with phpbb. ask them...

Re: Upgrade to 3.2 didn't go so well.

change it to mysqli

the new version usually requires it partly because mysql has been deprecated some time ago.

Re: Upgrade to 3.2 didn't go so well.

check in the folder named store
see if you have this file and delete it:
install_config.php
then upload the folder named install from the complete package, not the autoupdate package.

then run the database update again.
click on update tab
click on update
click on update database only.

Re: Email (SMTP) not working

try setting smtp to no. most people don't have to use it.
the standard php mail works just fine for most cases.

make sure whatever email address you are using for the board is one that you created with your own domain name.

Re: not unique table 1066 error

I believe all you have to do is add whatever icon you want via the admin panel, then make sure topic icons are turned on in the admin panel and then just choose it when either creating a post or editing a post etc.

don't know what you need an extension for.

Re: Poster not showing in "last post"

actually it is not self explanatory. you haven't explained anything about what your problem is.

please try again.

the more you describe your problem in detail , the easier it is for us to be able to help you.

Re: HTTP 500 Error

well, it probably happened because the first time you did not use the complete package. if you used the auto update method that is not working properly for this update and /or some of the files did not get uploaded properly the first time. therefore, when you uploaded all the files from the complete...

Re: +1, Like, or something similar

Or you adapt your expectations/priorities. that is sometimes what you have to do. therefore, extensions for things that maybe only a small percentage of the users would want instead of adding it to the core. people seem to forget the basic thing about phpbb. From the beginning it was always designe...
