Re: putting a banner code after the first post in a topic

you can do this with that extension mentioned above. not sure why you think you can't. anyway, If you insist on hardcoding it: https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.0/kb/article/advertisements-in-phpbb3/ remember, if you are using prosilver then you will have to redo this each time you update phpb...

Re: Permission to view profile warnings

I would think that having this would make people not want to be a member of your board at all. you would probably run off members that have not had a warning when they see that if they make a mistake they would be publicly shamed.

I think this is a horrible idea in principle.

Re: Page Redirect & Frames Problem?

sorry but none of that makes any sense. are you talking about phpbb? what frames are you talking about? what html doc are you talking about?
what redirect etc. etc.

none of that sounds like anyting to do with phpbb.

Re: Image Upload not working

please explain exactly what you are doing. if you are talking about the little image icon at the top of the posting box then that is not how it works. if you want to "attach" an image from your computer you have to use the attachment section at the bottom of the posting box. then, click on add files...

Re: Custom Error Pages

you will need to contact your host about this.

there is something different about how the server is setup for your subdomain and error pages etc.

Re: Error loading page

phpbb 3.2.x runs just fine on any php version from 5.6.x to 7.2.x but not on 7.3.x so, if you are on phpbb 3.2.1 you are fine with the host moving to php 7.2. first, use your ftp. download the file named config.php to your computer open it using a text editor only. like notepad++ or editpad lite. do...

Re: Missng all paths everytime the index link in the top menu is used!

that is about a 404 error. that means the file can not be found at the link provided.

you said a 403 error which means the viewer does not have permission to view the file.

Re: Error loading page

check with your host and see what they changed. looks like it might be they upgraded their php version and your board version won't work with it.

be sure they did not upgrade to 7.3 as the current version of phpbb nor any earlier version of phpbb will work with php 7.3

you would be much better off just using the bulit in Q&A with a good question that you can't find the answer for in google and that you can't really guess.

there is no need for that. subforums will automatically show up in the forum description if you click the box that tells them to when creating the subforum.

Re: Folder of NEW TOPIC icon

It is html, you find in template: viewforum_body and viewtopic_body while technically correct, you can't really edit that button in the html of the viewforum_body.html file except for maybe the font awesome icon like the little pencil. as the OP said, it is not an image. it is made up of css for the...
