Re: auto log out

as you have seen you are not going to be able to get much support here for your version of phpbb. as was mentioned, it is not even the same phpbb that is provided here and it is also so old that it is no longer supported here. I would suggest that you first replace your phpbbseo version with an actu...

Re: Best/easiest way to downgrade to previous version after failed upgrade

phpbb does not make a "old" folder when it updates. so no idea where that came from. if you did not make a complete backup of your board ( files and databaes) before you started then you really need to complete the update. this should not be a problem. you replace all the old files with new ones exc...

Re: HTTP ERROR 500 This page isn't working

and whoever told you that one.com does not keep server logs is an idiot. they are a large hosting company and even a small one needs to keep server logs so they can maintain their servers. hell, I think it is default in the server software. I think you should contact support, ask for level two suppo...

Re: White Blank pages On version 3.2.2

the version of carbon that is for phpbb 3.2.2 is not named carbon_2

are you sure you have the correct version for your version of phpbb?

also, you can NOT delete prosilver since carbon only has about 5 html files and gets the rest from prosilver.

Re: User registration settings: Account activation

one of mine is just telling them to look at the word typed in red at the bottom of the register page that they are on. then I type in a word in red on that html page.

Re: Error HTTP 403 - Google fails to index forum pages

and, the 403 error means that the google bot does not have permsission to view those 4 pages.

in phpbb the bots group has certain permissions set. check your bot group permissions and /or your guest permissions to see if they have correct permissions set to view those pages.

Re: Upgrade from 2.0.22 to 3.1.12

just to muddy it up a bit. if the OP is importing the old phpbb2 database into a new blank database, there is no way to get the error he is getting. so, one has to assume that he is trying to import the phpbb2 database into an existing phpbb3 database. if that is correct then that is the problem. no...

Re: PHPBB 3.2 with php 7 unknown MySQL server

leaving them blank assumes localhost and then 3306 for the mysql server.
if that doesn't work then you will need to find out what the correct info is from your host.

this info has to be absolutely correct.

Re: 3.2 Topic title generates url with all words of topic title

so, you are saying that you and all of those so called "SEO experts" know better than google what google wants. ok, I got it now. just FYI, most of the "SEO experts" now, are just copying what other "experts" wrote a decade or more ago about a subject that they didn't really understand even then. I ...

Re: Manage Users - White screen

anything is possible but in most cases it is just not practical. when you delete a user and or his posts from the database you have to edit just about every single table in the database to remove all the data related to that user and his posts etc.

Re: PHPBB 3.2 with php 7 unknown MySQL server

look in the config.php file. the line for

Code: Select all

$dbhost = '';
$dbport = '';
should look just like that.
it looks like yours probably has this:

Code: Select all

$dbhost = 'localhost:3306';
$dbport = '';
or something like it.
