Re: phpBB 3.3.1 login: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again

I've tried this "tip" from EA117: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=15257416#p15257416 Disable the "Tie forms to guest sessions:" setting in the ACP General tab, Server configuration, Security settings, which controls whether or not Guest sessions (not-logged-on ses...

phpBB 3.3.1 login: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again

Hi all, after correctly upgrading to phpBB 3.3.1 from 3.2.10, sometimes me and the registered users get the following message when trying to login: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again Trying to login with the same username and password the user is correcty logged in. Which could be ...

Re: How to rewrite images URLs: from HTTP to HTTPS

Ok, thank you. Just verified. So the main question still remains: in your opinion, which is the best way to replace the HTTP contents (images) posted by phpBB users into our boards during past months/years? I think it would be useful to check if the HTTPS version of the same image URL exists. When i...

Re: How to rewrite images URLs: from HTTP to HTTPS

Thank you.

@EA117: do you know the behaviour of HTTPProxy extension when, for example, an image could not be served via HTTPS but via HTTP only?

Re: How to rewrite images URLs: from HTTP to HTTPS

We are speaking of mixed contents (HTTPS pages that are referring to HTTP images). Please see the following: https://www.zdnet.com/article/google-gets-tougher-on-https-with-ban-on-mixed-content/ https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/security/prevent-mixed-content/fixing-mixed-content Obviou...

How to rewrite images URLs: from HTTP to HTTPS

Hi all,

starting from the next versions, Chrome browser will block mixed contents. How to configure phpBB to rewrite all HTTP URLs of images inserted in user posts automatically checking if it would be possible to replace HTTP URLs with HTTPS ones?

Thank you
Best regards

Re: Links not rendered after updating from 3.2.5 to 3.2.6

Just published also here: viewtopic.php?p=15247111#p15247111

I would suggest to update the "Known issues in 3.2.6" with these info.

Best

Re: Links do not convert after update to 3.2.6?

For those having this problem did you follow the update procedure as described in the KB article linked below, After making a backup of your database and your file system in case you want to get back to where you are right now, what happens if you use the Updating 3.2.x approach of applying the Ful...

Re: Links not rendered after updating from 3.2.5 to 3.2.6

The issue (now solved) was the content of the /vendor folder. The phpBB 3.2.6 auto install seems to not update that folder so the links are not correctly rendered. What I've done: 1) Temporarly disabled the board 2) Downloaded the phpBB 3.2.6 full package 3) Deleted the contents of /vendor folder 4)...

Links not rendered after updating from 3.2.5 to 3.2.6

Hi all! No problems before. Without any extension installed, new links are not correctly rendered anymore after updating the board to 3.2.6. Also the [url] bbcode is not managed anymore. Old links (published before) work correctly! Only the new one are rendered as simple texts. Could it be a templat...

Without any extension installed new links are not correctly rendered anymore. Also the [url] bbcode is not managed anymore.
Could it be a template issue? Which aspects could I verify?

Re: Links do not convert after update to 3.2.6?

Same problem for me too.
After updating to 3.2.6, when posting links (internal as external too) they are formatted as text only and they aren't clickable at all. Also the bbcode [url] does not work anymore.
For me the issue seems to do not affect links posted before the update.

Re: Cannot send a private message

Yes, his permissions seem to be correct. One thing to add: using the following page to access his profile /forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=NNNNNN, phpBB does not show the "Send PM" link as with all the other users... I've tried to add 10 private messages more in this section of...

Cannot send a private message

Hi all, I'm using phpBB since ages without any problems. Now one user of mine has contacted me via PM but I cannot reply to him. phpBB (release 3.2.5) says the following: " Some users couldn’t be added as they do not have permission to read private messages ". I am the admin of the board a...
