Re: Can't get cookies working

Re: SQL query which users have access to a specific forum.

The easiest way is to do that by group. Then all you have to do is check that group's membership by selecting the records from phpbb_user_group.

Re: Complexities and difficulties of the system of powers and the system of groups

Yes. You do not need to assign permissions by using a group. But you were complaining it was too complicated, and took you a half-hour to assign one user's moderator permissions. My example, using groups, only takes seconds to assign or remove permissions. It is much much easier to assign permission...

Re: Complexities and difficulties of the system of powers and the system of groups

A user can be a member of several different groups. Everyone should always be a member of Registered Users, because that is your base permissions group. The other groups you are a member of add or subtract permissions from that base group.

(26x26x10x8)²⁰ which equals 4.57E+94
I think you mean
(26 + 26 + 10 + 8)^ 20 which equals 7.979E+36

"Installatron" app.
Be aware that we give only limited support to such installs. They do not use our files, so we cannot support the problems inherent in their installs.

Re: Update from 3.0.0 to 3.2.5

That user_options column looks to be changed to a CHAR, rather than an INT. That is what is causing that error. That "skin=informe" needs to be removed some way before doing any type of update.
