I'll be having surgery to have my gallbladder removed. Posting here in case I actually die on the operating table.
LOL!
I went through that 9 years ago. Complications are pretty rare, but just before that I had just watched an episode of House or something where someone died from that surgery.

Re: Two topics under one ID

There are a several different tables you need to deal with. In addition to the Forum, Topic and Post tables, you also have to make sure the the post's Author is a valid user number. There should be no need to change topic ids, as long as the post table rows all have the same topic ID as the topic ta...

Re: board down after changing style

When I try to look at https://www.c1hundred.co.uk/forum it is redirecting to https://www.c1hundred.co.uk/kunden/homepages/7/d260496144/htdocs/forum/app.php That part from "/kunden/" through "/htdocs/" should not be part of your web path. Re: Making mod not working right

You should be leaving all of your users in the Registered Users group. Add your moderator user additionally to the Global Moderators group, and make that group the default group, so the Rank and Color are correct. Re: Error message help

Your host might have upgraded their PHP version. The newer versions do not support the older "mysql" plugin.

Re: SQL error 1064 after upgrade

The default for phpbb_users column user_topic_sortby_type is "t" so run something like this:

Code: Select all

update phpbb_users set user_topic_sortby_type = 't', user_topic_sortby_dir = 'd';

Re: SQL error 1064 after upgrade

The error message is implying that you do not have a default "Display topics ordering by:" in your UCP's Board Prefs

I cannot see where the index: b would be coming from
I am betting it is this:

Code: Select all

t.topic_type DESC, ASC
See there is no field to sort by named before the "ASC"

What "information" are you expecting to see?
Have you tried disabling your adblocker-blocker extension to see if it is causing trouble?

Re: ACP Private Messages: Wording could be better

When you are sending a private message to a group, you are actually sending it to individual users in that group. The "Can send to groups" and "Can send to multiple users" is intended for board leaders to be able to send mass messages. It can be turned off for individual users to prevent them from s...
